Auto-Pause Drip Stop
Your Coffee Maker was designed with an auto-pause drip stop feature. If you
wish, at any time during the brewing cycle, you may temporarily remove the
glass carafe from the unit and pour a cup of hot coffee.The brewing cycle will
be interrupted and no coffee will drip from the filter basket. Simply replace
the carafe on the warming plate to restart the brewing process.
CAUTION: Do not remove the carafe for longer than 20 seconds.
USING THE TIMER
Your Coffee Maker has a multi-function timer built into the face of the unit.
The following sections describe the proper use of this timer.
Setting the Clock
To set the clock, simply press the
“H” button until the desired hour has been
reached.There is an “AM” and “PM” indicator on the left side of the digital
readout. Press the
“M” button until the desired minute has been reached.Your
clock has now been set, and will continue to keep the correct time, even after
the unit has been shut off.
NOTE: Unplugging the unit will reset the clock to 12:00.
NOTE: After a power outage of more than one minute, you will have to set
the clock again.
Presetting the Brewing Cycle
To preset your Coffee Maker to begin brewing at a later time, first follow
steps 1 through 4 in the section “Using Your Coffee Maker”.
Check to make sure that the clock is set to the correct time. If it is not, set
the clock to the correct time.
Press and hold the
“PROG”
button.The timer is now ready to be set.While
continuing to press the
“PROG” button, press the “H” and “M” buttons until
the desired brew time is reached.The “AM” and “PM” indicators are on the left
side of the digital readout. Once you have reached your selected brew time,
release the “PROG” button.
Press the “POWER SELECT” button once.The red “AUTO” light will glow, indi-
cating that your Coffee Maker is now waiting for the preset brew time to be
reached before it will begin the brewing cycle.
Auto Shut-Off
As an added convenience, your Coffee Maker has been designed with an auto
shut-off feature.Two hours after the brewing cycle is complete, the Coffee
Maker will automatically shut itself off.

Dispositif d'arrêt automatique de l'écoulement
Votre cafetière est dotée d'un dispositif d'arrêt automatique de l'écoulement. Si
vous le désirez, vous pouvez, en tout temps au cours du cycle d'infusion, retirer
temporairement la carafe en verre de l'appareil et verser une tasse de café chaud.
Le cycle d'infusion sera interrompu sans que le café ne s'écoule du panier-filtre. Le
simple fait de replacer la carafe sur la plaque chauffante aura pour effet d'en-
clencher à nouveau le cycle d'infusion.
MISE EN GARDE : Ne pas retirer la carafe pendant plus de 20 secondes.
UTILISATION DE LA MINUTERIE
Votre cafetière est dotée d’une minuterie à fonctions multiples incorporée dans le
panneau avant de l’appareil. Les sections suivantes décrivent comment utiliser la
minuterie de façon adéquate.
Réglage de l’horloge
Pour régler l'horloge, appuyer simplement sur le bouton «H» (HEURE) jusqu'à ce
que vous atteigniez l'heure désirée. Un témoin
«AM» et «PM» figure à la gauche de
l'affichage numérique.Appuyer sur le bouton
«M» (MINUTES) jusqu'à ce vous parve-
niez à la lecture désirée.Votre horloge a maintenant été réglée et continuera d'af-
ficher l'heure exacte, même si la cafetière est arrêtée.
NOTA : Le fait de débrancher l’appareil aura pour effet de ramener l’horloge à 12 h 00.
NOTA: Aprés une coupure de courant de plus d’une minute, vous devez réglée I’heure
á nouveau.
Programmation du cycle d’infusion
Pour programmer votre cafetière de façon à enclencher le cycle d'infusion à une
heure ultérieure, suivre d'abord les étapes 1 à 4 dans la section «Utilisation de
votre cafetière».
S'assurer que l'horloge est réglée à l'heure exacte. Si l'heure affichée est inexacte,
régler l'horloge en conséquence.
Appuyer sur le bouton
«PROG» sans relâcher la pression. La minuterie est main-
tenant prête pour le réglage.Tout en maintenant le bouton
«PROG» enfoncé,
appuyer sur les boutons
«H» (HEURE) et «M» (MINUTES) jusqu'à ce que l'heure de
mise en marche désirée de la cafetière soit atteinte. Les témoins
«AM» et «PM»
sont situés à la gauche de l'affichage numérique. Une fois que l'heure de mise en
marche sélectionnée de la cafetière est atteinte, relâcher le bouton
«PROG».
Appuyer sur le sélecteur une fois. Le témoin rouge
«AUTO» s'allumera pour indi-
quer que votre cafetière attend maintenant que l'heure de mise en marche pro-
grammée soit atteinte avant d'enclencher le cycle d'infusion.
Arrêt automatique
Pour assurer une plus grande commodité, votre cafetière est munie d'une fonction
d'arrêt automatique. La cafetière s'arrêtera automatiquement 2 heures après la fin
du cycle d'infusion.
