Selecting input methods
Your phone supports several types of input methods:
Multitap ABC/Abc/abc, numeric, symbols, eng (fast
English input) and others.
Depending on the language you select for your
phone, the supported input methods may vary.
During text editing, short press to switch
between different input methods. , and
represent Multi-tap input, English input
and numeric input. To enter symbols, press
* .
Entering text
Use function keys
Use Multitap ABC/Abc/abc input
Press the keys that are marked with the
corresponding letter you wish to enter. Press once
to get the first letter on the key, press twice quickly
to get the second letter and so on until the letter
you want is displayed on the screen.
Example: how to enter the word "home":
Press
4 , 4 (GHI) 6 , 6 , 6 (MNO), 6
(MNO), 3 , 3 (DEF).
You can press key 0 to insert a space in ABC/
Abc/abc Multitap input mode.
R
Delete the characters on the left of the
cursor or exit from the editing mode.
+ / - / < / > Move the cursor, select a letter, word or
symbol from the list, or scroll down a list.

Return to idle mode.
L
Select the highlighted word from the list
or enter Options menu.

Enter symbols.
Switch input methods.
