8. Settings
This menu allows you to change the settings
associated with each available option in your
phone.
General
Language
Allows you to select a language for all the menu
texts. Press
+
or
-
to browse the list of languages
and press
L
Ok.
Time and date
Allows you to set the time and date.
Answer mode
Select either Normal answer or Any key answer.
Security
This menu allows you access the features relating
to the security of your mobile phone and the data
you store there.
PIN protection
This allows you to set the PIN protection and PIN
codes.
When SIM lock is set to On, you will be asked to
enter your PIN1 code when switching your phone
on. You can select to Change PIN1 and Change PIN2
codes. If SIM lock is set to Off, you cannot change
your PIN1 code. Depending on your SIM card,
some features or options may require a PIN2 code
given to you by your operator.
The default PIN codes are network dependent
on your service provider. Please contact your
service operator for the PIN information.
If you enter a wrong PIN code 3 times in
succession, your SIM card is blocked. To unblock
it, request the PUK code from your operator or
retailer. If you enter an incorrect PUK code 10
times in a row, the SIM card will be blocked and
