How to connect a plug
Thewiresinthemainsleadarecolouredin
accordancewiththefollowingcode:
BLUE-“NEUTRAL”(“N”)
BROWN-“LIVE”(“L”)
GREEN&YELLOW-“EARTH”(“E”)
1. TheGREEN&YELLOWwiremustbe
connectedtotheterminalintheplug
whichismarkedwiththeletter"E"orby
theEarthsymbolorcolouredGREENor
GREEN&YELLOW.
2. TheBLUEwiremustbeconnectedtothe
terminalwhichismarkedwiththeletter
"N"orcolouredBLACK.
3. TheBROWNwiremustbeconnected
totheterminalwhichismarkedwiththe
letter"L"orcolouredRED.
Beforereplacingtheplugcover,makecertain
thatthecordgripisclampedoverthesheathof
thelead-notsimplyoverthethreewires.
