Caption Service Closed Captioning allows you to read the voice content of television programs on the TV screen. Designed to help the hearing impaired, this feature uses on-screen ‘text boxes’ to show dialogue and conversations while the TV program is in progress. Captions will appear on the screen during captioned broadcasts. Note: The captions do not always use correct spelling and grammar. Not all TV programs and product commercials are made for broadcast with Closed Caption information included.
Clock Most of the TV channels are not transmitting clock information.There are few cable channels but they are at the end of the channel ring.There is no clock transmission in antenna channels. Sleep Timer With the Sleep timer function you can set a time period after which the TV will turn itself off. & Select Sleep Timer with the cursor down. é Press the cursor right to set the time The cursor runs from 0 up to 180 mins (in 5-min increments).When set to 0, the sleep timer is turned off. One minute before the sleep timer expires, a message appears that the TV will turn off in 60 seconds or you may cancel the sleep timer by pressing the OK button.
TV Ratings Lock Your TV is equipped with a V-chip.This allows you to control access to individual programs based on their movie and TV ratings. All settings apply to all AV inputs, except HDMI.
