Alerts
Allows you to set alert beeps On or Off
for the following items:
-when an
Event you programmed in your organiser is
due,
- when you have missed a call,
-when the
Battery is low and requires charging,
- to manage the duration of your calls, first after 45
seconds, then every minute of an ongoing call (the
beep cannot be heard by the caller).
This menu only allows you to activate/deactivate the
alert sounds, NOT the alerts themselves. E.g. setting the
event alert
Off will not prevent your phone from dis-
playing the
Reminder screen (if you programmed one),
but the corresponding sound will not be played.
Sound style
Allows you to select a sound style, that
will change the side lights sequences and
the sounds of the feedback, key tones,
new event (organiser event, missed call, etc.) and low
battery beeps.
The sound style values are predefined and cannot be
modified. The side lights sequences (see “External
lights” page 37) will change according to the
Sound
style you have selected.
Scroll through the list by pressing
+ or - and
press
, to select a given style. The highlighted pro-
file becomes the current profile.
Vibra alert
Allows you to set the vibra alert On or Off
when receiving a call, when an event set
in the organiser is due, when you receive
a message and when the alarm rings.
The vibra alert is always Off when the FM radio is On,
or when you connect the charger or the Cigarette Light-
er Adapter.
Screen saver
Allows you to set the screen saver On or
Off . When On , it will run a slide show in
idle mode, by using the jpeg file(s) you
have stored in your phone and selected.
Setting the Screen saver Off automatically activates the
Economy mode , i.e., the current time displayed on a
