1 Important the water tank, pour the water down the drain. Warning Safety • Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance, and save it for future reference. Danger • • • • 2 Do not let water or any other liquid or flammable detergent enter the appliance to avoid electric shock and/or a fire hazard. Do not clean the appliance with water, any other liquid, or a (flammable) detergent to avoid electric shock and/ or a fire hazard.
• Caution • • • • This appliance is not a substitute for proper ventilation, regular vacuum cleaning, or use of an extractor hood or fan while cooking. If the power socket used to power the appliance has poor connections, the plug of the appliance becomes hot. Make sure that you plug the appliance into a properly connected power socket. Always place and use the appliance on a dry, stable, level, and horizontal surface.
• • • • • • 4 Do not use this appliance when you have used indoor smoke-type insect repellents or in places with oily residues, burning incense, or chemical fumes. Do not use the appliance in a room with major temperature changes, as this may cause condensation inside the appliance.
• If you do not use the humidification function for a long time, clean the water tank and humidification filter tray. Dry the humidification filter. If you need to move the appliance, disconnect the appliance from the power supply first. Then empty the water tank. Carry the appliance horizontally by both handles on the sides of the appliance.
3 Getting started Note • Make sure that the side with the two clips is pointing towards you, and that all hooks of the pre-filter are properly attached to the purifier. Install filters The appliance comes with all filters fitted inside. Remove the packaging of the filters before you can use the appliance. Remove all filters, unpack them, and place them back into the appliance described as follows: Tip • When you remove or insert filters, place the appliance against a wall for more stability.
Understand the air quality light Color of the air quality light Blue Purple Red Air quality level Good Fair Bad The air quality light automatically goes on when the appliance is switched on, and shows all colors repeatedly. In a short while the air quality light selects the color that corresponds to the ambient air quality. Note • The built-in air quality sensor measures the air quality and automatically selects the appropriate color of the air quality light.
Fan speed light Note • In air purification only mode, the humidity button does not respond. + • The appliance cannot work under humidification only mode. Set the sensitivity of the air quality sensor This appliance allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the air quality sensor.
You can mannually select the desired fan speed. • Press the fan speed button once or more times to select the desired fan speed ( or ) (fig u). Note Set the timer With the timer function, you can let the appliance operate for a set number of hours. When the set time has elapsed, the appliance automatically switches off.
Water level The water level in the water tank is visible through the water level window on the side of the appliance (fig z). When there is not enough water in the water tank, flashes to indicate that you have to refill the water tank (fig {). Note • When there is no water in the water tank, the refill water light remains on, and the humidification indicator flashes to remind users the humidification function is not working.
Clean the water tank and humidification filter Regularly clean the inside and outside of the appliance to prevent dust from collecting. Clean the water tank and humidification filter every week to keep them hygienic. 1 2 Wipe away dust with a soft dry cloth from the body of the appliance. Clean the air inlet and the air outlet with a soft dry cloth. Clean the air quality sensor Clean the air quality sensor every two months for optimal functioning of the appliance.
Clean the pre-filter and descale the humidification filter Filter alert light Follow this status Filter light / goes Clean the on pre-filter and descale the humidification filter Note • Only the pre-filter and humidification filter are washable. Understand the healthy air protect lock This appliance is equipped with the healthy air protect lock to make sure that the filters are in optimal condition when the appliance is operating. When the filter is almost full and has to be replaced, the specific filter light ( / ) start to flash. When you do not replace the filter in time: »» The appliance stops operating and it is locked. »» The specific filter light ( / ) illuminate continuously.
7 Resetting the filter lifetime counter When you replace the filters, it is important that you also reset the filter lifetime counter afterwards. This allows the appliance to be in sync with the filter lifetime. 1 14 Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds, the filter light goes out, and the appliance resumes work automatically in the default settings (combi mode with AUTO as the fan speed) (fig ˆ).
This chapter summarizes the most common problems you could encounter with the appliance. If you are unable to solve the problem with the information below, contact the Consumer Care Center in your country. 5 6 Einsetzen der Filter Bei Lieferung sind alle Filter bereits im Gerät eingesetzt. Entfernen Sie die Verpackung der Filter, bevor Sie das Gerät verwenden. Nehmen Sie alle Filter heraus, entfernen Sie die Verpackung, und setzen Sie sie wie unten beschrieben wieder in das Gerät ein: • Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Seite mit den beiden Clips in Ihre Richtung zeigt, und dass alle Haken des Vorfilters ordnungsgemäß am Luftreiniger befestigt sind.

3 Drücken Sie , um das Gerät einzuschalten (Abb. p). »» Die Anzeigen PURIFY und HUMIDIFY leuchten. »» Nach einer kurzen Messung der Luftqualität wählt der Luftqualitätssensor automatisch die entsprechende Farbe für die Luftqualität aus. »» Das Gerät wechselt in den AUTO-Modus, und die Zielluftfeuchtigkeit ist standardmäßig auf 50 % eingestellt (Abb. q). Drücken Sie 2 Sekunden lang , um das Gerät auszuschalten (Abb. r).

Einstellen des Timers • Im manuellen Modus, wenn die Luftqualität den Zielwert erreicht (nur im Luftreinigungsmodus), oder wenn die Luftqualität und die Luftfeuchtigkeit gleichzeitig den Zielwert erreichen (Kombimodus), wird das Gerät weiterhin mit der ausgewählten Lüftergeschwindigkeit betrieben. Tipp • Wenn die Luftqualitätsanzeige blau leuchtet, ist die Luftqualität gut, und Sie können eine niedrigere Lüftergeschwindigkeit auswählen.
»» Wenn das Gerät die Zielluftfeuchtigkeit erreicht, leuchtet die Luftfeuchtigkeitsanzeige dauerhaft. Hinweis • Wenn Sie die Luftfeuchtigkeit kurzzeitig erhöhen möchten, können Sie eine höhere Lüftergeschwindigkeit auswählen. Wasserstand Der Wasserstand im Wasserbehälter ist durch das Sichtfenster an der Seite des Geräts sichtbar (Abb. z). Wenn sich nicht ausreichend Wasser im Wasserbehälter befindet, blinkt die Anzeige . Damit wird angezeigt, dass Sie den Wasserbehälter nachfüllen müssen (Abb. {).
Reinigen Sie das Gerät regelmäßig innen und außen, damit sich kein Staub ansammelt. 1 2 Wischen Sie Staub mit einem trockenen weichen Tuch vom Gerätegehäuse ab. Reinigen Sie den Lufteinlass und -auslass mit einem trockenen weichen Tuch. Reinigen des Luftqualitätssensors Reinigen Sie den Luftqualitätssensor alle 2 Monate, um die ideale Funktion des Geräts sicherzustellen. Reinigen Sie ihn öfter, wenn Sie das Gerät in einer staubigen Umgebung verwenden.

Setzen Sie den Wasserbehälter wieder in das Gerät ein (Abb. o) Status der Filterwarnanzeige Die Filteranzeige / leuchtet Gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Reinigen Sie den Vorfilter, und entkalken Sie den Luftbefeuchterfilter. Hinweis • Nur der Vorfilter und der Filter des Luftbefeuchters sind abwaschbar. Filter 2 ist nicht abwaschbar. • Die Filteranzeige / leuchtet ca. einmal pro Monat (Abb. ƒ).
6 Auswechseln der Filter 1 Entfernen Sie die Filter jeweils über das Etikett auf dem Filter. Nehmen Sie die Filter an beiden Seiten, und entsorgen Sie sie vorsichtig im Hausmüll (Abb. d). Hinweis Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Verriegelungsfunktion zur Erhaltung gesunder Luft ausgestattet, um sicherzustellen, dass die Filter in einem idealen Zustand sind, wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist. Wenn der Filter beinahe voll ist und ausgewechselt werden muss, beginnt die entsprechende Filteranzeige ( / ) zu blinken.
5 Setzen Sie den Zähler für die Filterstandzeit des Luftbefeuchterfilters zurück. Vous pouvez sélectionner une vitesse de ventilateur plus élevée pour purifier l'air rapidement.
Appuyez sur le bouton du programmateur à plusieurs reprises pour choisir le nombre d'heures de fonctionnement de l'appareil. Le voyant correspondant du minuteur s'allume. Pour désactiver le programmateur, appuyez sur le bouton du programmateur à plusieurs reprises jusqu'à ce que le voyant du programmateur ( , ou ) s'éteigne.
5 Nettoyage Remarque • Débranchez toujours l'appareil avant de le nettoyer. • N'immergez en aucun cas l'appareil ni dans l'eau ni dans tout autre liquide. • N'utilisez jamais de détergents abrasifs, agressifs ou inflammables (eau de javel, alcool, etc.,) pour nettoyer les différentes parties de l'appareil. • Seul le préfiltre et le filtre d'humidification peuvent être lavés. Remettez en place le couvercle des capteurs. Insérez le nouveau filtre 2 dans l'appareil (fig. f). Après avoir replacé le préfiltre dans l'appareil, réinitialisez le compteur de durée de vie du filtre 2.

De bedrijfsmodus wijzigen Opmerking • Als het apparaat is ingesteld op een hogere gevoeligheid, wordt de luchtzuiveraar allergischer voor de verontreinigende stoffen in de lucht. Wanneer de luchtzuiveraar in de modus AUTO staat, is het waarschijnlijker om te kiezen voor een hogere ventilatorsnelheid dan de standaardsnelheid. De luchtkwaliteitssensor selecteert de juiste kleur van de luchtkwaliteitsindicator in overeenstemming met de hogere gevoeligheid.
Opmerking • Als u tijdens het wijzigen van het gevoeligheidsniveau geen instellingen wijzigt of niet gedurende 2 seconden op drukt nadat u instellingen hebt gewijzigd, zal het apparaat weer normaal verder werken zonder de wijzigingen op te slaan. • Nadat het gevoeligheidsniveau is veranderd en opgeslagen, begint het apparaat zodra het wordt ingeschakeld automatisch op het ingestelde gevoeligheidsniveau te werken.

5 Schoonmaken Opmerking • Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt. • Dompel het apparaat nooit in water of een andere vloeistof. • Maak het apparaat nooit schoon met schurende, agressieve of brandbare schoonmaakmiddelen zoals bleek of alcohol. • Alleen het voorfilter en het bevochtigingsfilter zijn wasbaar. Het luchtzuiveringsfilter mag niet worden gewassen of gestofzuigd.

Het waterreservoir en het bevochtigingsfilter schoonmaken Reinig het waterreservoir en het bevochtigingsfilter wekelijks om deze hygiënisch te houden. 1 2 3 Verwijder het bevochtigingsfilter uit het waterreservoir (afb. ). Spoel het bevochtigingsfilter af onder een lopende kraan (afb. €). • Schrob het bevochtigingsfilter niet en plaats dit niet in direct zonlicht.
4 5 6 7 8 Laat het bevochtigingsfilter een uur in de oplossing weken (afb. …). Gooi de water-azijnoplossing weg. Spoel het bevochtigingsfilter onder de kraan schoon om azijnresten weg te spoelen. Draai het bevochtigingsfilter tijdens het spoelen zodat de voor- en achterkant worden schoongespoeld (afb. €). Laat overtollig water uit het bevochtigingsfilter druppelen en laat het filter drogen aan de lucht.
Opmerking 7 • Raak het geplooide oppervlak van het filter niet aan en ruik niet aan het filter. Het filter bevat vervuilende stoffen uit de lucht. • Was uw handen nadat u de gebruikte filters hebt weggegooid. 2 3 4 Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal van het nieuwe filter 2 (afb. e). Plaats het nieuwe filter 2 in het apparaat (fig. f ). Nadat het voorfilter weer in het apparaat is geplaatst, kan de levensduurteller van filter 2 worden gereset.
8 Problemen oplossen Dit hoofdstuk behandelt in het kort de problemen die u kunt tegenkomen tijdens het gebruik van uw apparaat. Als u er niet in slaagt het probleem op te lossen met behulp van de onderstaande informatie, neem dan contact op met het Consumer Care Centre in uw land. Probleem Mogelijke oplossing Het apparaat werkt niet, maar de stekker zit wel in het stopcontact.
Mogelijke oplossing De luchtkwaliteit wordt niet beter, ook niet als het apparaat al gedurende een langere tijd is ingeschakeld. •• Een van de filters is niet in het apparaat geplaatst. Zorg dat alle filters correct zijn geplaatst in de volgende volgorde, te beginnen met het binnenste filter: 1) filter 2; 2) voorfilter. •• De luchtkwaliteitsensor is vochtig. De vochtigheidsgraad in de ruimte is hoog en veroorzaakt condens.
