3 Push back the battery cartridge, then close the battery compartment. Note •• If you are not going to use the microphone for a long time, remove the batteries. •• New batteries installed in the microphone support up to 30 hours of continuous use. •• When the power indicator flashes red, it indicates that the power level is low and you need to replace the batteries.

Charge the iPad The docked iPad begins to charge as soon as the unit is connected to AC power. Play from an external device You can also listen to an external audio player through the Bluetooth® speaker. AUDIO-IN 1 Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to: • the AUDIO-IN socket on the back of the Bluetooth® speaker. • the headphone socket on an external audio player. 2 Start music play on the external audio player. 3 Use -/+ on the top of the Bluetooth® speaker to adjust volume.

6 Troubleshooting Failed to set up connection between the microphone and speaker • Check whether both the wireless microphone and Bluetooth® speaker are switched on. • Make sure that the wireless microphone and Bluetooth® speaker are within the the effective operation range, that is, approximately 10 meters (30 feet). • Press and hold on the top of the Bluetooth® speaker for more than 10 seconds to set up wireless connection manually. Warning •• Never remove the casing of this device.
