Note: The device automatically disables when
your skin tone is too dark, to prevent you from
developing skin reactions. The ‘ready to ash’ light
will blink orange to indicate if the skin tone is too
dark.
5 Lumea should never be painful. If you
experience discomfort, reduce the light
intensity setting. You can do this by using the
on/o button.
6 After moving to another body area or recent
tanning, perform a skin test to determine the
right light intensity setting. To re-activate the
setting advice feature, turn o the device o by
pressing the on/o button for 2 seconds, and
turn the device back on by pressing the on/o
button shortly.
Note: Since body areas might dier in skin color,
you need to select the right setting for each body
area separately. The Philips Lumea does not
automatically select the correct setting.
