Introduction This speaker has passed splash-proof test (IPX4) and can be used near water. With this speaker, you can enjoy audio from Bluetooth-enabled devices or other external devices.

3 Get started Always follow the instructions in this chapter in sequence. Connect the USB cable between • the DC IN socket on the speaker, and • a USB socket on a computer. Attach the string For easy carrying, attach the supplied string to this speaker as illustrated. The LED indicator indicates the battery status. Charge the built-in battery The speaker is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. Note •• Before use, fully charge the built-in battery. •• The micro USB socket is for charging only.
4 Play from Bluetooth devices 2 sec. With this speaker, you can listen to audio from Bluetooth-enabled devices. Connect a device Note 2 •• The speaker can memorize a maximum of four paired devices. The fifth paired device will replace the first one. •• Any obstacle between this speaker and a Bluetooth device can reduce the operational range. •• Keep away from any other electronic device that may cause interference.
Play from a Bluetooth-enabled device Note •• Music play pauses when there is an incoming call, and resumes when your phone call ends. After successful Bluetooth connection, play music on the connected Bluetooth device. »» Music streams from your Bluetooth device to the speaker. Tip Disconnect a device • • • • Reconnect a device • • •• You can use your Bluetooth device to control play. Control your phone call After Bluetooth connection, you can control an incoming call with this speaker.
5 Play from external devices With this speaker, you can also listen to an external audio device such as an MP3 player. Note •• Make sure that music playback through Bluetooth is stopped. 1 2 Connect an audio input cable (not supplied) with a 3.5 mm connector on both ends to • the AUDIO IN socket on this speaker, and • the headphone socket on the external device. Play audio on the external device (refer to its user manual). »» The speaker switches to the AUDIO IN mode.
