PC Functions

Select an entry in the recipient list and click
on or < to remove a subscriber from the
list.
4 Click on
if you would like to send your SMS at
a later time or assign it a priority.
5 Click on ; your SMS message is sent.
6 e SMS management folder O informs you
about the transmission status of your SMS mes-
sages. If you would like to cancel an SMS trans-
mission, select the SMS message and click in the
toolbar on S.

If you would like to save your SMS message
as a template, click on . (Press to cancel
the current function.)
After the transmission, the machine prints out
a transmission report, depending on the settings
(see also Changing PC SMS Settings).
If the SMS send folder contains approximately
30 entries, your multifunction machine auto-
matically prints out a journal and a L entry is
created in the folder R , which doc-
uments your SMS transmissions. e log entries
are automatically printed once enough entries for
a full A4 page are collected (see Changing PC
SMS Settings).
Receiving SMS Messages
When a new SMS message arrives, the symbol t ap-
pears on the lower edge of the C – M
SMS dialog. If you have not changed the factory set-
tings for SMS reception, SMS messages are automati-
cally received in the SMS management folder I
and printed out.
Reading SMS Messages
Select the desired SMS message in the folder I and
click in the toolbar on P to read the SMS.
Printing SMS Messages
Select the desired SMS message in the folder I and
click in the toolbar on P to print the SMS.

Printing Options
1 Click in the menu bar on T > O >
SMS.
2 In the L window, you can
configure custom printing settings for your SMS
messages, transmission reports and journals on the
PC. Multiple selection is possible.
3 Click on to save your settings. (Press to can-
cel the current function.)
Profile
With the P application, you can enter and save
your personal sender identification to be sent with your
SMS messages as the header.
1 Click in the menu bar on T > P.
2 Enter the data that should appear as the sender
identification.
3 Save your profile by clicking . (Press to can-
cel the current function.)

Please note that your sender identification
counts as text and reduces the number of
characters available for your SMS message.
Printing
When you install the C S IH on your
PC, the multifunction machine is installed as a (net-
work) printer under Windows. You will find the
multifunction machine in the Windows printer menu
as C P.
You can access your multifunction machine from any
program and create printouts in colour or black-and-
white.
Simply select C P as printer in the
program.
