Removing the rechargeable batteries
Onlyremovetherechargeablebatteriesiftheyarecompletelyempty.
Neverlettherechargeablebatteriescomeintocontactwithmetal.
Remove the rechargeable batteries in the following way.
1 Let the vacuum cleaner run until it stops.
Try to switch on the appliance again to check if the batteries are really
empty. If the motor starts, repeat the procedure.
2Loosenandremovethescrews.Openthevacuumcleaner(Fig.28).
3Putthemotorunitwiththebatteriesstillattachedinalargebowl
with3litresofwaterand3teaspoonsofsalt.
- Make sure the whole motor unit is immersed. Add more water and
salt according to the above proportion (1 teaspoon salt to 1 litre of
water) if needed.
- Leave the motor unit and the batteries in the bowl for 24 hours.
4Cuttheconnectingwiresonebyoneandremovethe
batteries(Fig.29).
