Two steps for ergonomic ironing 1 Ergonomic iron design (Fig. 1) The upward-sloping handle ensures a comfortable position of the wrist. 2 Ergonomic iron resting mat (Fig. 2) To reduce the strain on your wrist, the iron resting mat allows you to place the iron horizontally on the ironing board.

English 9 3 Open the Calc-Clean rinsing flap that covers the Calc-Clean rinsing cap. Turn the Calc-Clean rinsing cap anticlockwise and remove it. (Fig. 12) 4 Empty the steam generator into the sink (Fig. 13). 5 Fill the steam generator with fresh water, shake well and empty it into the sink again. (Fig. 14) 6 Repeat step 5 a few times to obtain the best result. 7 Screw the Calc-Clean rinsing cap tightly back onto the steam generator and put back the Calc-Clean rinsing flap.
English Problem Possible cause Solution The appliance does not become hot. There is a connection problem. Check the mains cord, the plug and the wall socket. The appliance is not switched on. Set the power knob with steam control to a steam setting. The set ironing temperature is too low. Set a higher ironing temperature. Some smoke comes out of the appliance after I have switched it on for the first time. This is normal. Some parts of the appliance have been greased lightly in the factory.
English 11 Problem Possible cause Solution Wet spots appear on the garment during ironing. The wet spots that appear on your garment after you have steam ironed for some time may be caused by steam that has condensed onto the ironing board. Iron the wet spots without steam for some time to dry them. If the underside of the ironing board is wet, wipe it dry with a piece of dry cloth. Water leaks from the appliance.

Français 17 Problème Cause possible Solution L’appareil n’est pas allumé. Positionnez le bouton de puissance avec commande de vapeur sur un réglage de vapeur. Lorsque vous commencez le repassage ou reprenez le repassage après une interruption, la vapeur contenue dans le cordon d’arrivée de la vapeur refroidit et se condense. Elle s’écoule en gouttelettes par la semelle du fer. Ce phénomène est normal. Tenez le fer au-dessus d’un chiffon et appuyez sur le bouton vapeur.
