Grilled sardines
with lime and bay leaves
Main dish - Serves 2
1 Pat the sardines dry with paper towels. Sprinkle the (cleaned) belly cavities of the sardines with pepper
and stuff them with the lime and bay leaves. Thinly brush the skin with oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
2 Heat the grill to setting 4 and grill the fish on the fully opened grill (Barbecue grill position) for 5-6
minutes until cooked, turning them halfway through. Wonderful with couscous and grilled tomatoes.
Total preparation time 15 minutes
TIP: For an even healthier meal, prepare the sardines without oil.
