Preparing for use
1 Placetheapplianceonaatandstablesurface.
2 Put the plug in an earthed wall socket.
3 Youcanstoreexcesscordbypushingitintotheopeninginthebackofthecoffeemaker.
Setting the clock
1 Afteryouhaveputthepluginthewallsocket,thenumbersstarttoashonthedisplay(Fig.2).
Note: If you do not press a button within 12 seconds, the set time is stored automatically.
2 Pressthe+buttontoincreasethetimeorthe-buttontodecreasethetime(Fig.3).
, Thedisplayshowsthesethour(e.g.7:00).
Tip: Press and hold the + or - button to put the time forward quickly.
3 Presstheclockbuttontoswitchfromhourstominutes.Pressthe+buttontoincrease
thetimeorthe-buttontodecreasethetime(Fig.4).
, Thedisplayshowsthesetminutes(e.g.7:20).
4 Presstheclockbuttontoconrmthesettime(Fig.5).
Note: If you want to change the preset time, push the + or - button and repeat step 2 until 4.
Adjustable keep-warm time and freshness indicator
You can adjust the time during which the appliance keeps the coffee warm on the hotplate to a
maximum of 2 hours. The default keep-warm time is 30 minutes.
1 Pressandholdtheclockbuttonuntilthekeep-warmtimestartsashingonthedisplay,
then release.
2 Pressthe+buttonor-buttontoadjustthekeep-warmtime.Everypressofthebuttonadds
10minutestothekeep-warmtime.
Tip: Press and hold the + or - button to fast forward the time.
3 Presstheclockbuttontoconrm.
Note: The appliance automatically saves the set keep-warm time after 12 seconds.
