The last two digits indicate the version of •
electronic user manual installed in your home
theater. For example, if the version in the
home theater is ‘Subsystem SW: 35-00-00-05’,
‘05’ represents the version of the electronic
user manual currently installed.
Step 2: Download the latest
electronic user manual
1 Insert the empty USB fl ash drive into a
USB connector on your PC.
2 In your Web browser, navigate to www.
philips.com/support .
3 At the Philips Support site, fi nd your
product and click on ‘Software and
drivers’, and then locate the ‘Electronic
Manual’. The electronic user manual is
compressed into a *.zip archive.
4 If the electronic user manual at the
Philips Support site is a later version
than the electronic user manual on the
home theater, save the zip fi le in the root
directory of your USB fl ash drive.
5 Unzip the downloaded fi le in the root
directory of the USB fl ash drive.
A fi le named ‘HTSxxxxeDFU.zip’ is »
extracted in the ‘\UPG’ folder of your
USB fl ash drive, ‘xxxx’ being the model
number of your home theater.
6 Disconnect the USB fl ash drive from the
PC.

date with the latest information, we strongly
recommend you update your home theater
with the latest electronic user manual.
Electronic user manuals can be obtained from
www.philips.com/support .
What you need
Before updating the electronic user manual,
make sure that you have the following:
An empty USB fl ash drive. The USB fl ash •
drive must be FAT or DOS-formatted.
Do not use a USB hard drive.
A PC with Internet access.•
An archive utility that supports the ZIP •
fi le format (for example, WinZip® for
Microsoft® Windows® or Stuffl t® for
Macintosh®).
Step 1: Check the current
version of electronic user
manual
Before updating the electronic user manual,
check the current version installed in your
home theater. If the version of the electronic
user manual in your home theater is lower
than the version available at www.philips.
com/support , download and install the latest
electronic user manual.
1 Press ( Home ).
2 Select [Setup] , then press OK .
3 Select [Advanced] > [Version Info.] , and
then press OK .
