Firmware Upgrade

Philips continually improves its products, and we recommend that you upgrade the product’s

firmware when upgrade files are available. Check www.philips.com/support for availability.

This upgrade is applicable to the following models:

HTS9810/12

HTS9810/59

This firmware version improves: Click here for more details.

You will need the following:

 a personal computer connected to the Internet and with a CD-R or CD-RW drive

 an archive utility that supports the ZIP format (e.g., WinZip for Windows or Stuff it for Mac

OS)

 a USB flash drive (preferably empty) or a CD-R/CD-RW

 software update cable (supplied)

Note: You will need to do configuration again each time after firmware upgrade.

Upgrade Procedure

Check your current firmware version

1. Power up the set to disc mode.

2. Press OPTIONS on the remote control.

3. Select [ Preference Setup ] > [ Version Info ].

4. Press OK.

5. The software version and other information are displayed on the TV screen.

If the current firmware version of your product is the same as the latest upgrade file found on

www.philips.com/support, it is not necessary to do the firmware upgrade.

6. Press OPTIONS to exit the menu.

Download firmware upgrade

Click the link to download the new firmware package on your computer.
