The LTC 3906 Series Video Cassette
Recorders offer time-lapse recording
in any of 12 selectable speeds in both
PAL and NTSC format. Designed
specifically for security applications,
these units include an alarm recording
function which can be triggered in
response to an external contact
closure from a monitored site. This
feature may be used to initiate alarm
recording for a preselected recording
duration. Alarm activation is indicated
by an audible indicator and LED display
on the front panel.
Other important security features of
the LTC 3906 Series include audio
recording in three speeds and a
program timer that allows for
preprogramming the time of day in
which the unit will automatically turn
ON or OFF anytime in a 24-hour
period. There is a security lock for
the recorder's controls. A built-in
time/date generator stamps the time
and date to tape and provides an on-
screen display. The LTC 3906 Series
provides a front panel LCD that
displays head usage and alarm
indication. Additional features include
video scan that allows fast search for
areas of interest.
