4 Play
Play a disc
Note
• Make sure that the disc contains playable audio content.
1 On the top panel, pull up to open the disc
compartment.
2 Insert a disc with the printed side facing up,
then close the disc compartment.
3 Press DISC to select the disc source.
4 Press to start play.
Control play
During play, follow the instructions below to
control play.
Button Function
/ Fast forward or fast reverse the
track during playback, then release to
resume play.
/ Skip to the previous or next track.
Start or pause play.
Stop play.
Repeat play
1 During play, select a repeat play mode:
• To play the current track repeatedly,
press REPEAT on the main unit.
• To play all tracks repeatedly, press REP
ALL on the remote control.
2 To return to normal play, press REPEAT or
REP ALL again.
Random play
1 During play, press SHUF.
» [SHUF](shufe)isdisplayed.
» All tracks are played randomly.
2 To return to normal play, press SHUF again.
Note
• Random play cannot be selected when you play the
programmed tracks.
Program tracks
In CD mode, you can program a maximum of
20 tracks.
1 When no track is played, press PROG to
activate the program mode.
2 Press / to select a track number, then
press PROGtoconrm.
» [PROG] (program) blinks on the
display.
3 Repeat step 2 to program more tracks.
4 Press to play the programmed tracks.
» During play, [PROG] (program) is
displayed.
• To erase the program, press twice.
Display play information
During play, press CLOCK/DISPLAY repeatedly
to view different play information.
