3 Relationship management
You can manage relationships between authors and
transcriptionists only in advanced administration
mode, which is enabled for you after you purchase
the advanced Philips SpeechLive business package
(PCL1100). This mode includes the following functions:
You can set up the workow folder visibility for the
users individually.
Transcriptionists can only view dictations from the
authors who have been granted access rights under
"Relationship management".
You benet from exible workow and notication
options for up to 25 users.
You can delete archived dictations automatically.
If you have not purchased a Philips SpeechLive business
package (PCL1000), the following functions are
available to you in simple administration mode:
The workow is already set up for you.
The dictations from all authors are visible to all
transcriptionists.
Note
You can view and edit the particular administration
mode you are currently running by clicking Workow
on the menu bar and then selecting the Switch
administration mode tab. The selected mode is
labeled "Your current mode".
To take advantage of the advanced administration
mode features, upgrade to the advanced package.

Click Workow on the menu bar and then select
the Switch administration mode tab.

Click on Upgrade now.
Dening relationships

Click Workow on the menu bar and then select
the Relationship management tab.

Move the mouse to the crossing point of the
corresponding author and transcriptionist.
X The Relationship settings popup menu appears
with three possible relationship types:
Not associated: the author and transcriptionist are not
associated with each other.
Associated without notication: the transcriptionist
does not receive a notication in SpeechExec Pro
Transcribe when a new dictation is available for
processing.
Associated with notication: the transcriptionist
receives a notication in SpeechExec Pro Transcribe
when a new dictation is available for processing.

Select the required relationship type and click on
Save changes.
Example:
Author 01 is associated with Transcriptionist 01: only
Transcriptionist 01 can access the dictations of Author
01.
Author 02 is associated with Transcriptionist 01
and Transcriptionist 02: Transcriptionist 01 and
Transcriptionist 02 can access the dictations of Author
02.
