INSTALLATION
Connecting to the power supply
Please note that the handset must be replaced before you connect the machine to the power
supply.
Plug the power connector into the back of the fax machine.
Plug the mains cable into the wall socket. The machine will carry out an
internal test.
Afterwards you need to enter the current time and date (see below).

If you do not enter the time and date or after you have pressed OK,
the CHECK DISPLAY lamp flashes and the display reads
as follows:
set time/date
If you then set time and date select function 12 Entering time and date.
If the fax machine has not yet been loaded with ink film and/or paper,
the CHECK DISPLAY lamp flashes, and the following
message appears on the display:
OUT OF PAPER
refill inkfilm
In standby mode (the display shows time and date) your fax machine is automatically in energy saving mode.
