1 Información de seguridad importante Mantenimiento general Para evitar averías o un mal funcionamiento: • No lo expongas a excesivo calor procedente de aparatos de calefacción o de la luz directa del sol. • No deje caer el reproductor ni deje que caigan objetos sobre él. • No sumerja el reproductor en el agua. La exposición del conector del auricular o del compartimento de la pila al agua puede dañar seriamente el dispositivo.
• El sonido puede ser engañoso. A medida que pasa el tiempo, el “nivel de comodidad” se adapta a niveles de volumen más altos. Por lo tanto, tras una escucha prolongada, lo que parece “normal” podría ser un nivel de volumen alto, y podría dañar su capacidad auditiva. Para protegerse frente a esta situación, establezca el volumen a un nivel seguro antes de que su oído se adapte y mantenga este nivel. Para establecer un nivel de volumen seguro: • Establezca su control de volumen en un ajuste bajo.

3.4 Conectar y cargar El reproductor se cargará al conectarlo al ordenador. 3.4.1 Use el cable USB suministrado Conecte el cable USB al ordenador para realizar la carga y la transferencia de datos. Sin embargo, el equipo debe tener capacidades de alta potencia a fin de realizar la carga. Nota Cargue su reproductor durante al menos 5 horas antes de utilizarlo por primera vez. La batería* estará cargada por completo (100%) en 5 horas.
3.4.2 Indicación de nivel de batería Los niveles de alimentación aproximados de la batería se indican de la forma siguiente: Batería llena Batería a dos tercios Batería a media carga Batería baja Batería vacía Nota El reproductor estará totalmente cargado cuando la animación de carga se detenga y se muestre . El reproductor cargado al completo le proporcionará hasta 10 horas* de reproducción de música. 3.
3.6 Transferencia de vídeo Importante Si tiene vídeos protegidos por DRM en su equipo, asegúrese de que los reproduce al menos una vez en el Reproductor de Windows Media antes de realizar la transferencia al reproductor mediante MediaConverter for Philips. Utilice MediaConverter for Philips para convertir los archivos de vídeo al tamaño de pantalla correcto, y para transferir vídeos de su PC al reproductor.
7 Se mostrará el progreso de la transferencia y de la conversión. 3.7 Desconexión de forma segura de su reproductor Salga de las aplicaciones activas que estén trabajando con el reproductor. Quite el reproductor de forma segura haciendo clic en en la bandeja de tareas de su PC. 3.8 Disfrutar 3.8.1 Encendido y apagado Para encender el dispositivo, pulse 2; hasta que aparezca la pantalla de bienvenida de Philips. Para apagar el dispositivo, mantenga pulsado 2; hasta que no aparezca nada en la pantalla.
4 Funcionamiento detallado 4.1 Modo música (aplicable también a la reproducción de grabaciones) Su reproductor admite los formatos MP3 y WMA. 4.1.
4.1.2 Encuentre su música 1 1 Seleccione en el menú principal para acceder al modo música.
4.1.3 Modo de reproducción Puede configurar su reproductor para reproducir canciones al azar (Todos aleatorios ) o repetidamente (Repetir 1 o Repetir todos ). 1 En el menú principal, seleccione > Modo de reproducción. 2 Utilice 3 o 4 para desplazarse hacia arriba o hacia abajo a través de las opciones. 3 Pulse 2 para seleccionar una opción. Mientras reproduce música puede ver la pantalla anterior de modo de reproducción activa.
4.3 Lista de reproducción durante la reproducción La Lista de reproducción durante la reproducción es una lista de reproducción que puede crearse en el reproductor mientras se encuentra en movimiento. Aparecerán todas las canciones y una lista en orden de reproducción en la lista de reproducción. Las nuevas canciones se agregan automáticamente al final de la lista de reproducción. 4.3.
4.4 Biblioteca de imágenes 4.4.1 Transferencia de imágenes de su equipo al reproductor 1 Conecte el reproductor a su equipo. 2 Arrastre y coloque sus fotografías en la carpeta PHOTO de su reproductor. 4.4.2 Buscar sus imágenes El reproductor admite archivos JPEG, y cuenta con una función de presentación de diapositivas. 4.5 Vídeos Puede encontrar los vídeos que se cargan desde el PC por medio del software MediaConverter. 4.5.1 Buscar sus vídeos 1 En el menú raíz del reproductor, seleccione con la 3 o 4. Puede buscar a partir de las siguientes opciones de vídeo: Todos los vídeos Vídeos en orden alfabético 2 Pulse 2 para acceder a la biblioteca de vídeos de su reproductor. 2 3 Utilice la 3 o 4 para seleccionar el vídeo que desee visualizar, y pulse 2; o 2 para reproducir su selección.
4.5.2 Controles Durante la reproducción de vídeo puede realizar las siguientes acciones: Para Realice lo siguiente Reproducir/pausar vídeo Pulse 2; Búsqueda hacia delante y hacia atrás Utilice los botones 1 y 2 para avanzar y rebobinar dentro de un vídeo en reproducción Ir al vídeo anterior o siguiente Pulse los botones 1 y 2 Ajustar el volumen Utilice los botones + y Volver al menú anterior Pulse MENU 4.
4.7 Grabaciones Su reproductor le permite realizar grabaciones. Consulte Información general acerca de los controles y las conexiones para conocer la ubicación del micrófono destinado a realizar las grabaciones. 2 1 1 En el menú principal, seleccione . 2 Seleccione Comenzar grabación de voz para comenzar a grabar voz. > El reproductor mostrará la pantalla de grabación de voz, y comenzará la grabación de voz automáticamente. 3 Pulse 2; para pausar. 4 Pulse 1 para detener y guardar la grabación de voz.
4.7.2 Eliminar su grabación El reproductor permite eliminar todos los archivos de grabaciones del reproductor. 1 En el menú principal, seleccione grabaciones. > Archivo de grabaciones > Eliminar todas 2 Pulse 2; para confirmar También puede eliminar las grabaciones del equipo. 1 Conecte el reproductor al equipo. 2 Seleccione su reproductor en el Explorador de Windows. 3 Haga doble clic en la carpeta VOICE 4 Seleccione los archivos que desea eliminar y pulse Suprimir en el teclado de su equipo. 4.7.
4.8.2 Sintonización automática 1 1 Seleccione Sintonización automática en el menú Radio . > El reproductor buscará las emisoras con mayor potencia, para posteriormente guardarlas, hasta un número máximo de 10 presintonías. Sugerencia Detenga la sintonización automática pulsando cualquier botón (excepto el botón de volumen). 4.8.3 Reproducir una emisora presintonizada 1 Desde el menú Radio , seleccione Preselecciones. 2 Pulse 3 o 4 para explorar y seleccionar las emisoras preseleccionadas.
4.9 Letras El reproductor admite archivos en formato LRC, y puede mostrar letras mientras reproduce canciones. Esta función especial permite guardar y editar archivos de letras con un editor de letras (tanto los archivos de letras como el software de edición se encuentran disponibles en Internet). Nota Para crear y/o editar letras necesita un Editores de letras. Existe gran cantidad de Editores de letras y "Archivos de letras" que pueden descargarse de forma gratuita de Internet.
4.10Vista de carpetas El reproductor es compatible también con la función Vista de carpetas de exploración de bases de datos y carpetas. La Vista de carpetas muestra el contenido del dispositivo, y su estructura refleja la que vería en su ordenador: 4.10.1 Acceder a sus archivos Utilice la tecla 2 o la tecla 2; para acceder directamente o reproducir sus archivos desde la Vista de carpetas. Utilice la tecla 2 para avanzar hasta el siguiente nivel o la tecla 1 para volver al nivel anterior.
4.11 Ajustes Puede configurar las preferencias de su reproductor para adaptarlo a sus necesidades. 1 1 Pulse MENU y seleccione . 2 Pulse 3 o 4 para seleccionar una opción. 3 Pulse 2 para seleccionar o 1 para volver al nivel anterior. 4 Pulse 2 para confirmar su selección. 5 Pulse 1 para salir del menú Ajustes.

5 Actualización del reproductor Su reproductor está controlado por un programa interno llamado firmware. Es posible que desde que compró su reproductor se hayan publicado versiones de firmware más recientes. Un programa de software, el Administrador de dispositivos Philips le permite actualizar el firmware del dispositivo si está disponible un nuevo firmware. Instale el Administrador de dispositivos Philips desde el CD suministrado o descargue la versión más reciente desde www.philips.com/support o www.

1 Restaure el reproductor insertando un objeto puntiagudo en el orificio de restauración de la parte posterior del reproductor. 2 Ejecute el Administrador de dispositivos Philips desde Inicio > Programas > Administrador de dispositivos Philips. Seleccione la ficha Reparar. 3 Mientras mantiene pulsado Vol + en el dispositivo, conéctelo al equipo. 4 Confirme Sí cuando vea la pantalla, ya podrá soltar el botón Vol +. 5 Elija el nombre de su dispositivo (SA33xx) en el recuadro.
No hay música en mi reproductor después de la transferencia. Si no puede localizar las canciones que ha transferido al reproductor, compruebe lo siguiente: • ¿Están sus canciones en formato MP3 o WMA? El reproductor no reproducirá otros formatos. Mi reproductor se cuelga. 1 En el poco probable caso de que su reproductor se cuelgue, no se asuste. Inserte un objeto puntiagudo en el orificio de restauración, situado en la parte inferior del reproductor. Mantenga pulsado hasta que el reproductor se apague.
8 Glosario A Álbum Una lista de canciones/fotografías. Administración de derechos digitales (DRM) Tecnología que ofrece un nivel persistente de protección sobre el contenido digital cifrándolo con una clave criptográfica. Los destinatarios autorizados (o usuarios finales) deben adquirir una licencia para desbloquear y consumir el contenido. C Canciones Pista individual o sección de contenido de audio. E Extraer Copiar contenido de medios digitales desde un CD de audio.
S Sincronización El proceso de mantener archivos de medios digitales en un dispositivo portátil basado en las reglas especificadas por los usuarios. Esto podría requerir la copia de archivos de medios digitales de un ordenador a un dispositivo, la actualización de información del dispositivo o la eliminación de archivos desde el dispositivo.
