- Do not use the drinking top with a glass
bottle.
- Do not put the spout cup in the freezer
compartment.
- To prevent scalding, let hot liquid cool
down before you ll the spout cup.
- Spouts are available separately. Use
only Philips Avent spouts.
Cleaning and sterilization
Clean the spout cup before rst use and
after each use to ensure optimal hygiene.
The spout cup is dishwasher-safe. Food
colorings may discolor parts.
1 Disassemble all parts (Fig. A).
2 Clean all parts in warm water with some
washing-up liquid. You can also clean
all parts on the top rack of the
dishwasher.
Caution: Do not use abrasive or
anti-bacterial cleaning agents or
chemical solvents. Excessive
concentration of cleaning agents may
eventually cause the spout to crack. If
this occurs, replace the spout
immediately.
Caution: Do not place parts directly on
surfaces that have been cleaned with
anti-bacterial cleaners.
3 Sterilize the parts in a sterilizer or boiling
water for max. 5 minutes. The spout cup
is also suitable for all standard
sterilization methods.
Note: Wash your hands thoroughly and
make sure surfaces are clean before
contact with sterilized items.
Do not sterilize any part of the spout
cup in the microwave without using a
microwave sterilizer.
4 After sterilization, let the parts cool
down for 5 minutes.

- Check the spout cup before each use. If
any damage or crack is detected, stop
using the spout cup immediately.
- Always use this product with adult
supervision.
- Never use the spout as a soother.
- Continuous and prolonged sucking of
uids will cause tooth decay.
- Always check food temperature before
feeding.
- Prevent your child from running or
walking while drinking.
- Keep all components not in use out of
the reach of children.
- Do not heat up any liquid or food in the
microwave.
Caution
- Before rst use, disassemble all parts
(Fig. A) and clean and sterilize them
thoroughly. Place the spout cup in
boiling water for 5 minutes. This is to
ensure hygiene.
- Make sure all parts are properly
assembled (Fig. B) before you give the
spout cup to your child.
- This spout cup is intended for use with
diluted drinks.
- Thick, zzy or pulpy drinks may block
the valve and cause the spout to break
or leak.
- This spout cup is not designed for
preparing infant formula. Do not use the
spout cup to mix and shake infant
formula as this can clog the holes and
cause the spout cup to leak.
Assembling and disassembling
See Fig. B on how to assemble the spout
cup and Fig. A on how to disassemble the
spout cup. Ensure the spout is properly
assembled by pulling the spout fully
through the screw ring.
Storage
- For hygiene and maintenance,
disassemble the spout cup (Fig. A) and
store it in a dry and covered container.
- Keep the spout cup away from heat
sources and direct sunlight.
Tip: The parts of the spout cup are
compatible with all Philips Avent Natural
bottles (Fig. 1).
