Caution
- Before rst use, disassemble all parts and
clean and sterilize them thoroughly. Place
the parts of the spout cup in boiling water
for 5 minutes. This is to ensure hygiene.
- The spout cup is also suitable for electric
and microwave sterilization. Only use
a microwave sterilizer or Philips Avent
microwave sterilizing bags (SCF297) to
sterilize any part of the spout cup in the
microwave.
- Make sure all parts are properly
assembled before you give the spout cup
to your child.
- This spout cup is intended for use with
diluted drinks.
- Thick, zzy or pulpy drinks may block the
valve and cause it to break or leak.
- This spout cup is not designed for
preparing infant formula. Do not use
the spout cup to mix and shake infant
formula as this can clog the holes and
cause the spout cup to leak.
- Do not overtighten the drinking top on
the spout cup.
- Do not use the spout and handles with a
glass bottle.
- Do not put the spout cup in the freezer
compartment.
- To prevent scalding, let hot liquid cool
down before you ll the spout cup.
Cleaning and sterilization
- After each use, disassemble all parts and
clean them thoroughly in warm water
and some washing-up liquid. You can
also clean all parts on the top rack of the
dishwasher.
- Do not use abrasive or anti-bacterial
cleaning agents or chemical solvents.
- Do not place parts directly on surfaces
that have been cleaned with anti-
bacterial cleaners.
- Food colorings can discolor parts.
- After cleaning, sterilize the spout cup.
- The spout cup is suitable for all methods
of sterilization.

Read this user manual carefully before you
use the spout cup and save it for future
reference.
For your child‘s safety and health
WARNING!
- Check the spout cup before each use. If
any damage or crack is detected, stop
using the spout cup immediately.
- Always use this product with adult
supervision.
- Never use the spout as a soother.
- Continuous and prolonged sucking of
uids will cause tooth decay.
- It is not recommended to use a
microwave to warm up baby‘s food
or drinks. Microwaves might alter the
quality of food/drinks and destroy some
valuable nutrients and may produce
localized high temperatures. Therefore,
take extra care if and when you heat up
food in a microwave. When heating up
liquid or food in the microwave, please
only place the container without screw
ring, spout and cap. Always stir heated
food to ensure even heat distribution.
- Always check food temperature before
feeding.
- Do not allow child to play with small parts
or walk/run while using bottles or cups.
- Keep all components not in use out of
the reach of children.
Assembling and disassembling
See Fig. B on how to assemble the spout cup
and Fig. A on how to disassemble the spout
cup. Ensure the spout is properly assembled
by pulling the spout fully through the screw
ring.
Storage
- For hygiene and maintenance,
disassemble the spout cup and store it in
a dry and covered container.
- Keep the spout cup away from heat
sources and direct sunlight.

Mix and match Philips Avent bottle and cup
parts and create the product that works for
you, when you need it. All Philips Avent
Natural bottles and cups are compatible,
excluding glass bottles and My First Big Kid
Cup/Grown Up Cup (SCF78X).
