User manual

- This storage pot is not intended as a utensil for feeding
children. Do not feed children directly from the storage
pot.
- This product may break if dropped.
- Always remove the storage pot lid before using the pot
to heat up food in a microwave.
Caution
- Before  rst use, disassemble all parts, clean them
thoroughly, and then sterilize them with a Philips
Avent sterilizer or place the storage pots in boiling
water for 5 minutes. This is to ensure hygiene. When
using boiling water, make sure that there is enough
water in the container to sterilize the storage pots
and that the pots do not contact the container for too
long, to avoid heat deformation.
- Philips Avent storage pots are suitable for all steam
sterilization methods.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before you touch any
sterilized items and make sure the surfaces on which
you place sterilized items are clean.
- Make sure that the amount of food in the storage pot
does not exceed the maximum scale marked on the
side of the pot, otherwise the pot may leak.
- Before putting the storage pot into a refrigerator or
freezer, make sure that the pot lid has been closed
tightly to avoid potential leakage.
- Do not select the grill function if you use a
combination microwave (with grill function) to reheat
or defrost food with the storage pots. If you have just
nished a grilling process, wait until the microwave
has cooled down before putting the storage pots in it,
as the residual heat can cause damage to the storage
pots.
- Heating in a microwave may produce localized high
temperatures in the food and may a ect its nutritional
value. Always stir heated food to ensure even heat
distribution and test the temperature before serving
the food to your baby.
- Do not place the storage pots in a hot oven or on any
other hot surface.
- Do not expose the storage pots to extreme heat or
direct sunlight.
- Keep the storage pots away from sunlight when
storing.
- If you use the Philips Avent 4-in-1 healthy baby food
maker (SCF875) to reheat or defrost food, make sure
that the pot lid is closed tightly before putting the
storage pot in the jar, otherwise the pot may leak
when you take it out of the jar.
