3 Get started Manual pairing 1 Charge your headphones Note •• Before you use your headphones for the first time, charge the battery for 5 hours for optimum battery capacity and lifetime. •• Use only the original USB charging cable to avoid any damage. •• Finish your call before charging the headphones, as connecting the headphones for charging will power the headphones off. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to: • the USB connector of the headphones and; • USB power source.
1 2 Activate the Bluetooth feature of your mobile phone, select Philips SHB3165/ SHB3185. Enter the headset password "0000" (4 zeros) if prompted. For those mobile phones featuring Bluetooth 3.0 or higher, no need to enter a password.
4 Use your headphones Connect the headphones to a Bluetooth device 1 2 Turn on your mobile phone/Bluetooth device. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the headphones on. »» The blue LED flashes. »» The headphones are reconnected to the last connected mobile phone/ Bluetooth device automatically. If the last one is not available, the headphones will try to reconnect to the second last connected device. Turn the headphones off. Press and hold for 4 seconds. »» The white LED is on and fades out.
Other headphones indicator status Headphones status The headphones are connected to a Bluetooth device, while the headphones in standby mode or while you are listening to music. The headphones are ready for pairing. The headphones are on but not connected to a Bluetooth device. Low battery. Battery is fully charged. Indicator The blue LED flashes for every 8 seconds. Tip •• After use, twist the headphones for easy storage. The LED flashes blue and white alternately. The blue LED flashes quickly.

7 Frequently asked questions The microphone is muted. Press enable the microphone. once to My Bluetooth headphones do not switch on. The battery level is low. Charge the headphones.
