9.2 Connect to the UPnP device
When connecting to the network of the UPnP device, you have the following options:
Connect wirelessly or through an Ethernet cable.
For more information on the connection, see 11. Network settings: Connect to external Wi-
Fi enabled or wired home network.
9.3 UPnP playback
During UPnP playback, some playback features in the Wi-Fi network on Center will be unavailable,
including Music Broadcast, Music Follows Me, Same Artist, Same Genre, Creating / Deleting Playlist,
and Recording.
9.3.1 Play music from UPnP device
Check that the UPnP device is switched on.
Switch off the firewall running on the UPnP¬ enabled PC during UPnP playback.
Check that Center is connected to the network of the UPnP device (see 11.5 Network
settings:View connection status).

Important! If you cannot find the UPnP server on the network, refresh the UPnP mode of
Center by changing the mode (press HOME key).
Important!
You can only stream music files in non-protected MP3,WMA, or AAC (.M4A) format when
WAC3500D is in UPnP mode.
You cannot stream video or picture contents.
Important! Connecting other UPnP clients to Philips Wireless Music Center may take longer
than connecting a Philips Wireless Music Station to Center.
