8 Disposal
Do not throw away the appliance with the
normalhouseholdwasteattheendofits
life,buthanditinatanofcialcollection
pointforrecycling.Bydoingthis,youhelpto
preservetheenvironment.
Thebuilt-inrechargeablebatterycontains
substancesthatmaypollutetheenvironment.
Alwaysremovethebatterybeforeyou
discard and hand in the appliance at an
ofcialcollectionpoint.Disposeofthe
batteryatanofcialcollectionpointfor
batteries.Ifyouhavetroubleremovingthe
battery,youcanalsotaketheappliancetoa
Philipsservicecentre.Thestaffofthiscentre
willremovethebatteryforyouandwill
disposeofitinanenvironmentallysafeway.

1 Openthedoorofthepurewaterdispenser
(1).Useacrossheadscrewdrivertoremove
thethreescrewsonthecomponentcover
(2).
5 RemovetheUVlampunit(lamp,rubberseal
and lamp holder).
6 InsertthenewUVlampunit.
7 Reattach the lamp retaining cap.
8 Reconnect the wire connectors.
9 ClosethecoveroftheUVchamber.
