Tap on an empty contact icon, and select
your desired one from the phonebook.
On the quick-call display, the contact name
appears below the icon.
For those with contact pictures (see "Add a
contact to Smart Phonebook" on page 37),
the associated picture also appears.
To replace a contact in the quick-call
dashboard
1.
Go to Settings > General > Quick call
dashboard.
2.
Tap to select the contact to be replaced.
3.
Tap on Options > Replace to replace the
contact with your desired one from the
phonebook.
Speed dial
On the idle screen, tap on , and you can call
a preset speed-dial number by long pressing a
numeric key.
Set your speed-dial number before dialing it.
To assign a speed-dial key to a contact or phone
number,
1.
Go to > Settings > General > Speed dial.
2.
Select one of the locations ( to ). Tap
on Add.
3.
In Contacts, assign to the location a contact
from your phonebook.
In Phone number, assign to the location a
preset phone number.
Answering and ending a call
When you receive a call, the number of the caller
may be displayed, depending on whether or not
the caller has chosen to display his or her ID. If the
number is stored in the phonebook, then the
corresponding name is displayed.
• Answer the call: Press A, or tap on
Answer.
• Hang up: Press B.
