Add a contact to SIM phonebook
1.
On the idle screen, tap on and enter
the phone number you wish to save.
2.
Tap on Save and choose storage To S I M1 or
To S I M2 .
3.
Follow Step 3 under “Add a contact to
Smart Phonebook”.
Edit a contact
1.
Go to Contacts > View contacts.
2.
Select your desired contact (see see
"Searching for a contact").
3.
Tap on Options > Edit to go to the editing
options.
For contacts on SIM phonebook, only name
and mobile number are editable.
Searching for a contact
1.
Go to Contact > View contacts.
There are 4 pages on top of phonebook list:
all contacts, phone contacts, SIM1 contacts
and SIM2 contacts.
2.
Select your desired page of contacts.
3.
To search for a contact, tap on
, and enter the name (up to
5 characters) using the on-screen keypad.
- To search contacts by any character in a
name, turn on Smart search in Contacts >
Advanced.
Names containing the character are
listed.
- To search contacts by first characters in a
name, turn off Smart search in Contacts >
Advanced.
Names starting with the character are
listed.
Or, move up or down the slider on the right.
Initials (English or phonetic letter) appear for
current names in an ascending or descending
order.
