This menu allows you to use
passwords to protect your SIM
card, phone, and information
stored on the phone.
PIN protection: Set PIN or PIN2
password protection for your
SIM card. (The PIN or PIN2 are
provided by the network
operator. )
If you enter an incorrect PIN
code three times in succession,
the PIN code of your SIM card
will be locked automatically and
you will be prompted to enter
the PUK code to unlock it. You
can obtain the PUK code from
your network operator.
If you enter an incorrect PUK
code ten times in succession, the
SIM card will be locked
permanently. When this happens,
please contact your network
operator or retailer.
Change PIN and Change PIN2:
Change your PIN and PIN2
passwords as desired.
Phone lock: Set password
protection for your phone. You
are required to enter the
password each time you turn on
the phone (1122 by default).
