Bolt connection terminal blocks are
available either in a single-bolt or double-
bolt design or with a screw/bolt mixed con-
nection. The latter are fitted as high-current
connectors with a terminal sleeve connec-
tion on one side and with a screw set for the
connection of cable lugs on the other. The
dimensions of the various types are shown in
the following drawings and tables.
Secure cable lug connection
Cable lugs are securely connected in
UHV..., HV..., and RT... high-current terminal
blocks using the screw set. Spring washers
are used for screw locking. Cable lugs ac-
cording to DIN 46234, DIN 46235, and
DIN 46237 can be connected. A two-con-
ductor connection is also possible where
one conductor must be connected under
the current bar using a cable lug and the oth-
er must be connected to the current bar. See
diagram below right.

Secure flat conductor connection
Flat conductors can be reliably and se-
curely connected in UKH and UHV high-
current terminal blocks using the insertion
profile (UKH... EP). This levels out the
prism-shaped terminal sleeve base, there-
by ensuring that the flat conductor is con-
tacted on a large area.
