Serial decoding

You can use PicoScope to decode data from a serial bus such as I

C or CAN Bus.

Unlike a conventional bus analyzer, PicoScope lets you see the high-resolution

electrical waveform at the same time as the data. The data is integrated into the

scope view, so there's no need to learn a new screen layout.

How to use Serial Decoding

1. Select the Tools > Serial Decoding menu command.

2. Complete the Serial Decoding dialog.

3. Choose to display the data In View, In Window, or both.

4. You can decode multiple channels in different formats simultaneously. Use the

Decoding tab below the "In Window" data table (shown in the picture above) to

select which channel of data to display in the table.
