} PITreader as electronic key switch
} E-STOP pushbutton
The E-STOP pushbutton is used to shut down plant and machine sections in order to re-
duce or avert imminent or existing hazards to persons and damage to machinery or ma-
terials.
} Pushbutton generally
– The pushbutton is used to switch a signal and as the status display.
– The pushbutton lights up if the corresponding input is connected.
} Pushbutton 2 (to reset the password)
– Pushbutton 2 can be used to reset the password for the PITreader to the default
settings [ 17] during power-up.
