SPECIFICATIONS
If you want to dispose this product, do not mix it with general household waste. There is a
separate collection system for usedelectronic products in accordance with legislation that
requires proper treatment, recovery and recycling.
Private households in the member states of the EU, in Switzerland and Norway may return their
used electronic products free of charge to designated collection facilities or to a retailer (if you
purchase a similar new one).
For countries not mentioned above, please contact your local authorities for the correct method
of disposal.
By doing so you will ensure that your disposed product undergoes the necessary treatment,
recovery and recycling and thus prevent potential negative effects on the environment and
human health.
Informational Note for Customers in EU Only:
Adjust headphones sound to the proper volume. Loud sound may damage your ears.
For traffic safety, never use the headphones while riding a bicycle, motor bike, or while
driving a car. It is dangerous to increase the sound volume too much because you cannot
hear external sounds; take great care about traffic around you.
Plug adapter out of the reach of children and infants. If accidentally swallowed, contact a
doctor immediately.
Please read through these operating Instructions so you will know how to operate your model
properly.

In order to support a wide variety of monitoring styles, this product has been designed with the
ability to swivel the ear pieces front-to-back, and rotate each earpiece housing to the outside.
Before using, however, please confirm the correct direction and degree of movement allowed,
and do not apply excessive force in the attempt to swivel, rotate, or bend the headphones in
ways not supported, since damage may result.
This product is designed to allow folding into a compact shape when
not in use. Detach the cable before folding the headphones and
inserting them into their carrying pouch.

<To attach the cable>
1.Hold the convex part of the cable plug at
the angle shown in the diagram and insert
the cable plug.
2.Rotate the convex part of the cable plug
approximately 45 degrees clockwise to the
position shown in the diagram to lock the
cable plug.
<To detach the cable>
Rotate the convex part of the cable plug
approximately 45 degrees counterclockwise
and then pull out the cable plug.

Caution
The plug on the headphone end of the cable supplied with this product employs a new
structure to enable smooth insertion and removal, and secure locking in place to make
disconnection during DJ performances difficult. Therefore, it is not compatible with the cables
supplied with the HDJ-1500, HDJ-700, and HDJ-500. It is compatible with the cables supplied
with the HDJ-X7 and HDJ-X5 as they employ the same plug structure.

Precautions for use
Caution should be observed during use, since adjustable parts may pinch the user's hair,
depending on the way in which headphones are used.
Do not subject the headphones to strong forces or impacts, since damage could occur to the
exterior appearance or product performance.
When headphones are dirty, wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Take care not to blow into the speaker
unit.
Sound quality might deteriorate or sound maybe interrupted if the plug is dirty. Keep the plug
clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth occasionally.
Ear pads may degrade over long periods of use or storage. In this event consult your dealer.
If any itching or skin discomfort occurs during use, cease use immediately.
