You can adjust the effect’s temporal parameter by turning the [TIME] knob.
You can adjust the effect’s quantitative parameter by turning the [LEVEL/
DEPTH] knob.
The [ON/OFF] button flashes when the effect is on.
• Press the [ON/OFF] button again to turn the effect off.
Inputting the BPM manually
Tap the [TAP] button more than twice with your finger in time with the
beat of the sound being played.
The average value of the interval that the button is tapped is set to the
BPM.
• When you set the BPM with using the [TAP] button, the beat is set to
[1/1] and the time of 1 beat (quarter note) is set as an effect time.
• When you rotate the [TIME] knob while holding the [TAP] button, you
can set the BPM manually.

Operation 1
1 Operate step 1 through 4 of Using BEAT FX (page 100).
2Touch [X-PAD].
When you touch or swipe [X-PAD], you can turn the effect on/off and change
effect’s temporal and quantitative parameters.
• When you release your finger from [X-PAD], the effect is turned off.
• To release your finger from [X-PAD] with the effect on, press the [BEAT FX
ON/OFF] button while holding [X-PAD], and then release your finger from
[X-PAD].
