Disconnecting USB devices
1 Press the [USB STOP] button for over 2 seconds.
• Do not disconnect the USB device or turn off the unit while the USB indicator
is lit or flashing. Doing so could delete the management data of this unit and
damage the USB device, resulting in unreadable data.
2 Disconnect the USB device.
3 Close the USB slot cover.
Playing tracks
This section describes basic track selection and how to switch the
screen.
Playing music files on media connected to this unit
1 Connect a USB device.
2 Press the [USB 1] or [USB 2] button.
Tracks and folders on the connected device are displayed in a list, showing
music files in a USB device or a mobile device running rekordbox connected to
the [USB 1] or [USB 2] slot.
3 Turn the rotary selector.
• To open the category or lower level folder, press the rotary selector. To return
to the upper level folder, press the [BACK] button.
• To return to the category level, press the [BACK] button for 1 second or
more, or press the browsed media button ([USB 1], [USB 2], [LINK] or
[rekordbox] button).
4 Use the rotary selector to select a track you want to load.
To display the track menu, press the rotary selector while the cursor is hovered
over the track title.
