Using DJ software

Operating DJ software
The unit also outputs operating data for the buttons and knobs in MIDI
format. If you connect a PC/Mac with a built-in MIDI compatible DJ
application via the USB cable, you can control the DJ application with
the unit. You can also output a music file playing on your PC/Mac from
the unit. To use this unit as an audio device, install the driver software
on your PC/Mac beforehand. This unit must also be selected in the DJ
software’s audio output device settings. For details, see your DJ
application’s user guide.
1 Connect the [ USB] port of the unit to your PC/Mac.

2 Press the [BROWSE (SEARCH)] button, and then press the
[LINK] button.
The connection screen is displayed.
If a media is connected to a DJ player with the PRO DJ LINK connection,
[ CONTROL MODE] is displayed on the media selecting screen.
