Operating the jog wheel
• The top of the jog wheel has an embedded switch. Do not place
objects on the jog wheel or subject it to strong impact.
• Water or other liquids getting into the unit will lead to a malfunction.
Switching Jog mode
The jog wheel has two modes.
•[VINYL] mode: When the top of jog wheel is pressed during
playback, the playback stops. When the jog wheel is turned, the
sound comes out according to the jog operation.
• Normal mode: Playback doesn’t stop even when the top of jog wheel
is pressed. Scratching, etc. can’t be performed.
Press the [JOG MODE (VINYL)] button.
When Jog mode switches to [VINYL] mode, the [JOG MODE (VINYL)]
button lights up.
Scratch
When the jog wheel is set to [VINYL] mode, you can play according to
the rotation direction and speed by turning the jog wheel while holding
the top of it.
1 Press the [JOG MODE (VINYL)] button.
Set Jog mode to the [VINYL] mode.
2 During playback, press the top of the jog wheel.
Playback stops.
3 Turn the jog wheel with preferred direction and speed.
The sound is played according to the spinning direction and speed of the jog
wheel.
4 Release the jog wheel.
Normal playback resumes.
