Setting loops automatically
4-beat Loop
During playback, press the [4/8BEAT (LOOP CUTTER)] button.
According to the BPM of the playing track, loop playback starts with 4
beats from the point where you press the button.
• If the track’s BPM can’t be detected, the BPM is set to 120.
• You can set the 4-beat Loop when you hold down the [LOOP IN/CUE
(IN ADJUST)] button for at least one second.
8-beat Loop
During playback, hold down the [4/8BEAT (LOOP CUTTER)] button
for at least one second.
Loop playback starts with 8 beats from the point where you press the
button.
Cutting the loop (Loop Cutter)
During loop playback, press the [CUE/LOOP CALL (LOOP 1/2X)]
button.
Each time you press the button, the loop cuts in half.
• You can cut the loop when you press the [4/8BEAT (LOOP
CUTTER)] button.
Extending the loop (Loop Double)
During loop playback, press the [CUE/LOOP CALL (LOOP 2X)]
button.
Each time you press the button, the loop doubles in length.
• You can extend the loop when you press the [4/8BEAT (LOOP
CUTTER)] button while holding the [SHIFT] button.
