TO PLAY ONLY DESIRED SCENES/TRACKS- ProgramPlayback
Selected chapters (LD) or tracks (CDV/CD) can be played in
any desired order (max. 24 chapters or tracks).
Press PGM.

You can view the state of programming on the monitor
TV screen.
With CDs or CDV discs, the total time of the programmed
tracks can be displayed.
2 Select the desired chapters or tracks.
With two-sided LDs, first specify side A or side B with DISC
SIDE A or B and then enter the number of the desired
chapter with the digit buttons.
Example: To program chapter 9 on side B, chapter 7 on
side A, and chapter 18 on side B, in that order:

With single-sided LDs, CDs, and CDV discs, just enter the
number of the desired chapter or track with the digit buttons.
Example: To program CD tracks 9, 7, and 18 in that order:
If you make a mistake during entry:
Press CLEAR and enter the correct number with the digit
buttons.

The chapters/tracks are played in the programmed order.
When all programmed chapters/tracks have been played, the
player enters stop mode.
To stop program play in the middle:
Press on the front panel of the player or EJECT II/A on the
remote control unit.
Press CLEAR on the remote control unit.
To clear the program contents:
Open the disc table.
Press CLEAR on the remote control unit in stop mode.
Programming a pause:
tnserting a pause in your program can be very useful when carrying
out recording.
For example, when recording on both sides of a cassette tape, if
you program a pause after the last track to be recorded in the first
side, program playback will pause at that point to allow you to
switch tape sides.
Inserting pauses in a program will also allow you to record blank
sections on atape which are useful for music search functions, or
to record narration between selections, etc.
To resume program playback when the unit is in pause mode,
press PAUSE It.

To program a pause:
In step 2 of the above procedure, press PAUSE II instead of entering
a chapter or track number.
NOTES:
Apausecannotbeprogrammedforstep 1,norfortwoconsecutive
steps.
A pause can be programmed for the lastprogram step, however,
it will not be effective.
