Before Using This Product About This Product • This product complies with the EMC Directives (89/336/EEC, 92/31/EEC) and CE Marking Directive (93/68/EEC). The tuner frequencies on this product are allocated for use in Western Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania. Use in other areas may result in improper reception. The RDS function operates only in areas with FM stations broadcasting RDS signals.

Keep this manual handy as a reference for operating procedures and precautions. Always keep the volume low enough for outside sounds to be audible. Protect this product from moisture. If the battery is disconnected, the preset memory will be erased and must be reprogrammed.
Basic Operation To Listen to Music The following explains the initial operations required before you can listen to music. Note: • Loading a disc in this product. (Refer to page 7.) 1. Select the desired source (e.g. Tuner). Each press changes the Source ... Each press of the SOURCE button selects the desired source in the following order: Built-in CD player = Tuner Note: • When no disc is set in this product, built-in CD player source will not change.
Basic Operation of Tuner ENGLISH This product’s AF function can be switched ON and OFF. AF should be switched OFF for normal tuning operations. (Refer to page 10.) Manual and Seek Tuning Manual Tuning (step by step) 0.5 seconds or less Seek Tuning 0.5 seconds or more ESPAÑOL • You can select the tuning method by changing the length of time you press the 2/3 button. Note: DEUTSCH • If you continue pressing the button for longer than 0.5 seconds, you can skip broadcast stations.
Basic Operation Basic Operation of Built-in CD Player Eject Note: CD Loading Slot Note: • The built-in CD player plays one standard 12 cm or 8 cm (single) CD at a time. Do not use an adapter when playing 8 cm CD. • Don’t insert any materials except for CD into CD loading slot. • The CD function can be turned ON/OFF with the disc remaining in this product. (Refer to page 5.) • A disc left partially inserted after ejection may incur damage or fall out.
Tuner Operation Local Seek Tuning ENGLISH This function selects only stations with especially strong signals. • Switch the Local ON/OFF with the LOCAL/BSM button. “LOC” ESPAÑOL Best Stations Memory (BSM) The BSM function stores stations in memory automatically. • Press the LOCAL/BSM button for 2 seconds to switch BSM ON. DEUTSCH The stations with the strongest signals will be stored under buttons 1–6 and in order of their signal strength.
Using RDS Functions What is RDS? RDS (Radio Data System) is a system for transmitting data along with FM programs. This data, which is inaudible, provides a variety of features such as: program service name, program type display, traffic announcement standby, automatic tuning and program type tuning, intended to aid radio listeners in tuning to a desired station. Note: • RDS service may not be provided by all stations.
AF Function ENGLISH The AF (Alternative Frequencies search) function is used to search for other frequencies in the same network as the currently tuned station. It automatically retunes the receiver to another frequency in the network which is broadcasting a stronger signal when there are problems with reception of the currently tuned station or better reception is possible on a different frequency.
Using RDS Functions PI Seek Function The tuner searches for another frequency broadcasting the same programming. “PI SEEK” appears on the display and the radio volume is muted during a PI Seek. The muting is discontinued after completion of the PI Seek, whether or not the PI Seek has succeeded. If the PI Seek is unsuccessful, the tuner returns to the previous frequency.
TA Function ENGLISH The TA (Traffic Announcement standby) function lets you receive traffic announcements automatically, no matter what source you are listening to. The TA function can be activated for either a TP station (a station that broadcasts traffic information) or an EON TP station (a station carrying information which cross-references TP stations). Activating/Deactivating the TA Function ESPAÑOL 1. Tune in a TP or EON TP station.
Using RDS Functions Canceling Traffic Announcements • Press the TA button while a traffic announcement is being received to cancel the announcement and return to the original source. The announcement is canceled but the tuner remains in the TA mode until the TA button is pressed again. Adjusting the TA Volume When a traffic announcement begins, the volume adjusts automatically to a preset level to enable you to hear the announcement clearly.
PTY Function ENGLISH The PTY function enables you to select stations by the type of programming they broadcast (PTY Search). It also provides automatic tuning to emergency broadcasts (PTY Alarm). Note: ESPAÑOL • PTY code program types are as follows: 1. NEWS: News. 2. AFFAIRS: Current affairs. 3. INFO: General information and advice. 4. SPORT: Sports programs. 5. EDUCATE: Educational programs. 6. DRAMA: All radio plays and serials. 7.
Using RDS Functions PTY Search Setting Function 1. Enter the PTY Search setting mode. Hold for 2 seconds The name of a program type appears on the display for 5 seconds. Note: • “CURRENT” sets desired PTY to the program type of the current station (only for RDS stations broadcasting PTY information). 2. Select one of the PTYs. 3. When the desired programming type appears on the display, return to the normal display.
PTY Search Function ENGLISH • Initiate a PTY search. ESPAÑOL The tuner searches for a station broadcasting the desired PTY. Note: • The program of some stations may differ from that indicated by the transmitted PTY. • If no station broadcasting the selected programming type is found, “NOTFOUND” is displayed for about 2 seconds, and the tuner returns to the original station. PTY Alarm DEUTSCH PTY Alarm is a special PTY code for announcements regarding emergencies such as natural disasters.
Using the Built-in CD Player Repeat Play Repeat Play plays the same track repeatedly. • Switch the Repeat Play ON/OFF with the button 5. Note: • If you perform Track Search or Fast Forward/Reverse, Repeat Play is automatically canceled. Random Play Random Play plays the tracks on a disc in random order for variety. • Switch the Random Play ON/OFF with the button 4. Scan Play Scan Play plays the first 10 seconds or so of each track on a disc in succession. 1. Switch the Scan Play ON with the button 3.
Audio Adjustment Selecting the Equalizer Curve ENGLISH You can switch between Equalizer curves. • Press the EQ button to select the desired Equalizer curve. ESPAÑOL Equalizer curve POWERFUL (powerful) = NATURAL (natural) = VOCAL (vocal) = CUSTOM (custom) = EQ FLAT (flat) = SPR–BASS (super bass) Note: • “CUSTOM” stores an equalizer curve you have made adjustments to. (Refer to “Equalizer Curve Adjustment” on page 20.) DEUTSCH Entering the Audio Menu With this Menu, you can adjust the sound quality.
Audio Adjustment Audio Menu Functions The Audio Menu features the following functions. Balance Adjustment (FAD) This function allows you to select a Fader/Balance setting that provides ideal listening conditions in all occupied seats. 1. Press the AUDIO button and select the Fader/Balance mode (FAD) in the Audio Menu. 2. Adjust front/rear speaker bal∞ buttons. ance with the 5/∞ “FAD F15” – “FAD R15” is displayed as it moves from front to rear. 3. Adjust left/right speaker bal3 buttons.
Equalizer Curve Adjustment (EQ-L/EQ-M/EQ-H) ENGLISH You can adjust the currently selected equalizer curve settings as desired. Adjusted equalizer curve settings are memorized in “CUSTOM”. 1. Press the AUDIO button and select the Equalizer mode (EQ-L/EQ-M/EQ-H) in the Audio Menu. ESPAÑOL 2. Select the band you want to adjust with the 2/3 buttons. EQ-L (low) + = EQ-M (mid) + = EQ-H (high) 3. Boost or attenuate the selected band with the 5/∞ buttons. The display shows “+6” – “–6”.
Audio Adjustment Front Image Enhancer Function (FIE) The F.I.E. (Front Image Enhancer) function is a simple method of enhancing front imaging by cutting mid- and high-range frequency output from the rear speakers, limiting their output to low-range frequencies. You can select the frequency you want to cut. Precaution: • When the F.I.E. function is deactivated, the rear speakers output sound of all frequencies, not just bass sounds. Reduce the volume before disengaging F.I.E.
Detaching and Replacing the Front Panel Theft Protection ENGLISH The front panel of the head unit is detachable to discourage theft. Detaching the Front Panel 1. Eject the front panel. ESPAÑOL 2. To remove the front panel, pull its right-hand side toward you. DEUTSCH Take care not to grip it tightly or drop it. 3. Use the protective case provided to store/carry the detached front panel. Initial Setting Entering the Initial Setting Menu With this menu, you can perform initial settings for this product. 1. Switch the source OFF. 2. Enter the Initial Setting Menu. Hold for 2 seconds 3. Select a desired mode. Each press changes the Mode ... 4. Operate a mode. 5. Cancel the Initial Setting Menu. Note: • Holding down the AUDIO button for 2 seconds also cancels the Initial Setting Menu.
Initial Setting Menu Functions ENGLISH The Initial Setting Menu features the following functions. Changing the FM Tuning Step (STEP) Normally set at 50 kHz during Seek tuning in the FM mode, the tuning step changes to 100 kHz when the AF or TA mode is activated. It may be preferable to set tuning step to 50 kHz in the AF mode. ESPAÑOL 1. Press the AUDIO button and select the FM Tuning Step mode (STEP) in the Initial Setting Menu. 2. Select the desired tuning step with the 2/3 buttons.
Other Functions Cellular Telephone Muting Sound from this system is muted automatically when a call is made or received using a cellular telephone connected to this product. • The sound is turned off, “MUTE” is displayed and no audio adjustment is possible. Operation returns to normal when the phone connection is ended.
CD Player and Care Precaution ENGLISH • Play only CDs bearing the Compact Disc Digital Audio mark. ESPAÑOL • This product is designed for use with conventional, fully circular CDs only. Use of shaped CDs are not recommended for this product. DEUTSCH • Check all CDs before playing and discard cracked, scratched or warped discs. • Normal playback of CD-R discs other than those recorded with a music CD recorder may not be possible.
CD Player and Care Built-in CD Player’s Error Message When problems occur with CD playback, an error message appears on the display. Refer to the table below to identify the problem, then take the suggested corrective action. Uso de las funciones RDS ¿Qué es RDS? El RDS (Sistema de Datos por Radio) es un sistema para la transmisión de datos junto con los programas FM. Esos datos, que no pueden oírse, facilitan diversas funciones; por ejemplo: nombre de servicio de programa, visualización de tipo de programa, espera de anuncio de tráfico, sintonización automática y sintonización de tipo de programa, que tienen como finalidad ayudar a los oyentes a sintonizar la emisora que deseen.
Función AF ENGLISH La función AF (búsqueda de frecuencias alternativas) se utiliza para buscar otras frecuencias en la misma red que la emisora que está sintonizada. Vuelve a sintonizar automáticamente en el receptor otra frecuencia de la red, que está emitiendo una señal más intensa, si hay problemas con la recepción de la emisora que está sintonizada o puede conseguirse una recepción mejor en otra frecuencia.
Uso de las funciones RDS Función de búsqueda PI El sintonizador buscará otra frecuencia en la que se esté emitiendo la misma programación. En la pantalla aparecerá “PI SEEK” (BÚSQUEDA PI) y el volumen del aparato de radio enmudecerá mientras se hace la búsqueda PI. Una vez finalizada la búsqueda de PI, se recuperará el sonido, independientemente de que la búsqueda haya tenido, o no, éxito. Si la búsqueda PI no ha tenido éxito, el sintonizador regresará a la frecuencia anterior.
Función TA ENGLISH La función TA (espera de anuncio de tráfico) permite recibir automáticamente anuncios de tráfico, independientemente de la fuente que se esté escuchando. La función TA puede activarse tanto para una emisora TP (una emisora que transmite información sobre el tráfico) como para una emisora EON TP (una emisora que transmite información que hace referencia a otras emisoras TP). Activación/Desactivación de la función TA ESPAÑOL 1. Sintonice una emisora TP o EON TP.
Uso de las funciones RDS Cancelación de anuncios de tráfico • Presione el botón TA durante la recepción de un anuncio de tráfico para cancelar el anuncio y regresar a la fuente original. El anuncio se cancelará, pero el sintonizador permanecerá en modo TA hasta que se presione otra vez el botón TA. Ajuste del volumen de la función TA Cuando comienza a emitirse un anuncio de tráfico, el volumen se ajusta automáticamente al nivel predefinido para poder oírlo claramente.
Función PTY ENGLISH La función PTY permite seleccionar las emisoras en función del tipo de programación que emiten (Búsqueda PTY). También permite sintonizar automáticamente radiodifusiones de emergencia (Alarma PTY). Nota: ESPAÑOL • Los tipos de programa con código PTY son: 1. NEWS: Noticias. 2. AFFAIRS: Temas de actualidad. 3. Uso de las funciones RDS Función de ajuste de búsqueda PTY 1. Acceda al modo de ajuste de búsqueda PTY. Mantenga presionado durante 2 segundos En la visualización aparecerá el nombre de un tipo de programa durante 5 segundos. Nota: • El botón “CURRENT” permite establecer el código PTY del tipo de programa que se desea escuchar en la emisora sintonizada (únicamente para las emisoras RDS que difundan información PTY). 2. Seleccione un código PTY. 3.
Functión de búsqueda PTY ENGLISH • Inicie una búsqueda PTY. ESPAÑOL El sintonizador buscará una emisora que emita el tipo de programa (PTY) que desee. Nota: • El programa de algunas emisoras puede diferir del indicado por la información PTY transmitida. • Si no se encuentra ninguna emisora que esté emitiendo el tipo de programa seleccionado, aparecerá en la visualización el mensaje “NOTFOUND” (NO ENCONTRADO) durante 2 segundos y el sintonizador regresará a la emisora original.
Uso del reproductor de CD incorporado Reproducción con repetición En modo de reproducción con repetición se reproduce continuamente la misma pista. • Puede activar o desactivar la función de reproducción con repetición mediante el botón 5. Nota: • Si hace una búsqueda de pista o un avance rápido/retroceso, la función de reproducción con repetición se cancelará automáticamente. Reproducción aleatoria En la función de reproducción aleatoria las pistas del disco se reproducen de forma aleatoria para variar.
Ajuste de audio Selección de la curva del ecualizador ENGLISH Puede cambiar entre las curvas del ecualizador. • Presione el botón EQ para seleccionar la curva del ecualizador que desee. ESPAÑOL Curva del ecualizador POWERFUL (potente) = NATURAL (natural) = VOCAL (vocal) = CUSTOM (personalizado) = EQ FLAT (plano) = SPR–BASS (superbajo) Nota: • “CUSTOM” permite memorizar una curva de ecualizador en la que se han hecho ajustes. Ajuste de audio Función Front Image Enhancer (FIE) La función F.I.E. (Front Image Enhancer) es un método sencillo para mejorar la imagen delantera cortando la salida de frecuencias de rango medio y alto en los altavoces traseros, limitando su salida a frecuencias de bajo rango. Puede seleccionar la frecuencia que desee cortar. Precaución: • Si la función F.I.E. está desactivada, en los altavoces traseros saldrá un sonido de todas las frecuencias, no simplemente sonidos graves.
Extracción y colocación del panel delantero Protección contra robo ENGLISH El panel delantero de la unidad principal puede extraerse como protección contra el robo. Extracción del panel delantero 1. Expulse el panel delantero. ESPAÑOL 2. Para retirarlo, tire hacia afuera del lado derecho. Tenga cuidado, no lo apriete demasiado ni lo deje caer. DEUTSCH 3. Utilice la caja protectora que se facilita para guardar o transportar el panel delantero extraído.
Ajustes iniciales Acceso al menú de ajustes iniciales En este menú, pueden hacerse los ajustes iniciales para este producto. 1. Apague la fuente. 2. Acceda al menú de ajustes iniciales. Cambio del paso de sintonía de FM (STEP) Normalmente está ajustado en 50 kHz durante la sintonización por búsqueda en modo FM, pero cambiará a 100 kHz cuando se active el modo AF o TA. Otras funciones Enmudecimiento de teléfono móvil El sonido de este sistema enmudecerá automáticamente cuando se haga o se reciba una llamada si se utiliza un teléfono móvil conectado a este producto. • El sonido se desactivará, en la pantalla aparecerá “MUTE” y no podrá hacerse ningún ajuste de audio. La operación volverá a la normalidad cuando finalice la conexión telefónica.
Reproductor de CD y cuidados Precaución ENGLISH • Utilice únicamente discos compactos que lleven la marca “Compact Disc Digital Audio”. ESPAÑOL • Este producto está diseñado para uso exclusivo con discos compactos convencionales, completamente circulares. No se recomienda el uso de discos compactos con otras formas en este producto. DEUTSCH • Compruebe todos los discos compactos, antes de reproducirlos y descarte aquellos que estén agrietados, arañados o combados.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme Über dieses Produkt • Dieses Produkt entspricht den EMC-Richtlinien (89/336/EEC, 92/31/EEC) und CEMarkierungsrichtlinien (93/68/EEC). Die Empfangsfrequenzen dieses Geräts sind auf den Einsatz in Westeuropa, Asien, im Nahen Osten, in Afrika und Ozeanien ausgelegt. Die Verwendung in anderen Gebieten kann zu Empfangsfehlern führen. Die RDS-Funktion arbeitet nur in Bereichen mit UKWSendern, die RDS-Signale ausstrahlen.

ESPAÑOL Wichtig DEUTSCH Bitte tragen Sie sofort die 14-stellige eingravierte Serien-Nummer und das Kaufdatum (Rechnungsdatum) in den beiliegenden Pioneer Car Stereo-Paß ein, Stempel des Händlers nicht vergessen. Der ausgefüllte Pioneer Car Stereo-Paß ist für den Fall des Diebstahls ein wichtiges Dokument des Eigentumsnachweises.
Grundlegender Betrieb Musik hören Um Musik hören zu können, müssen Sie zuerst die folgenden Schritte durchführen. Hinweis: • Laden von CDs. (siehe Seite 7.) 1. Wählen Sie die Programmquelle (z. B. Tuner) Die Programmquelle ändert sich bei jedem Tastendruck ... Durch Drücken der Taste SOURCE schalten Sie in der nachstehenden Reihenfolge zwischen den Programmquellen um: Eingebauter CD-players = Tuner Hinweis: • Der CD-Spieler kann nur angesteuert werden, wenn eine CD geladen ist.
Grundlegender Tuner-Betrieb ENGLISH Die Alternativfrequenz-Funktion (AF) dieses Geräts kann ein- und ausgeschaltet werden. Für die normale Sendersuche sollten Sie die AF-Funktion ausschalten (siehe Seite 10).
Grundlegender Betrieb Grundlegender Betrieb des CD-Players Entladen von CDs Hinweis: CD-Ladeschlitz • Sie können bei geladener CD (siehe Seite 5). • Eine nach dem Auswurf nicht entnommene CD kann beschädigt werden oder herausfallen. Hinweis: • Der im Steuergerät integrierte CD-Player ist auf Standard-CDs (12 cm) und Single-CDs (8 cm) ausgelegt. Zum Abspielen von Single-CDs (8 cm) keinesfalls einen Adapter verwenden. • Führen Sie keine andere Gegenstände außer CDs in den CD-Ladeschlitz ein.
Tuner-Betrieb Lokalsender-Suchlauf ENGLISH Bei aktivierter Lokalsenderfunktion wählt das Gerät nur Sender mit hoher Signalstärke. • Die Lokalsenderfunktion schalten Sie mit der Taste LOCAL/BSM ein und aus. “LOC” ESPAÑOL Bestsenderspeicher (BSM) Mit der BSM-Funktion können Sie automatisch Stationen speichern. DEUTSCH • Drücken Sie die Taste LOCAL/BSM für 2 Sekunden, um die BSMFunktion zu aktivieren.
RDS-Funktionen Was bedeutet RDS? Das Radiodatensystem (RDS) dient zur Übertragung von Daten in Kombination mit UKW-Programmen. Diese Datensignale, die nicht hörbar sind, können zahlreiche Informationen beinhalten: Senderkürzel- und Programmtypanzeige, VerkehrsdurchsageBereitschaft, automatische Sendersuche, Programmtyp-Suchlauf usw. vereinfachen das Abstimmen eines gewünschten Senders. Hinweis: • RDS-Service wird unter Umständen nicht von allen Sendern geboten.
Alternativfrequenz-Suchfunktion (AF) ENGLISH Die AF-Funktion (Alternativfrequenzsuche) dient zum Suchen von alternativen Empfangsfrequenzen im Netzwerk des Senders, den Sie gerade hören. Dadurch wechselt der Tuner automatisch zu einer anderen Empfangsfrequenz im Sendernetzwerk, wenn er Beeinträchtigungen beim Empfang auf der gegenwärtigen Frequenz oder bessere Empfangsbedingungen auf einer anderen Frequenz erkennt.
RDS-Funktionen PI-Suchfunktion Der Tuner sucht nach einer anderen Frequenz, auf der derselbe Programminhalt gesendet wird. Während der Suche ist das Gerät stummgeschaltet und Sie sehen “PI SEEK” auf dem Display. Nach dem PI-Suchlauf wird die Stummschaltung aufgehoben - egal, ob die PI-Suche erfolgreich war oder nicht. Falls beim PI-Suchlauf kein alternativer Sender gefunden wurde, schaltet der Tuner wieder auf die vorherige Empfangsfrequenz zurück.
TA-Funktion ENGLISH Bei aktivierter TA-Funktion (Verkehrsdurchsage-Bereitschaft) gibt das Gerät ungeachtet davon, welche Programmquelle Sie gerade hören, empfangene Verkehrsmeldungen sofort durch. Sie können die TA-Funktion entweder für TP-Station (Verkehrsfunksender) oder EON TP-Station (Sender im EON-Netzwerk mit Durchschaltung zu Verkehrsfunksendern) aktivieren. Aktivieren/Deaktivieren der TA-Funktion ESPAÑOL 1. Stellen Sie einen Verkehrsfunksender (TP- oder EON TP-Station) ein.
RDS-Funktionen Ausschalten von Verkehrsdurchsagen • Wenn Sie während einer Verkehrsdurchsage die Taste TA antippen, wird die empfangene Verkehrsmeldung unterbrochen und Sie hören wieder das ursprüngliche Programm. Dadurch wird nur die Verkehrsdurchsage abgebrochen, aber die TA-Funktion nicht abgeschaltet. Dazu müssen Sie die Taste TA erneut drücken.
PTY-Funktion ENGLISH Mit der PTY-Funktion können Sie einen Sendersuchlauf nach Programmtyp (PTY-Suche) durchführen. Außerdem umfasst diese Funktion auch automatische Alarmdurchsagen (PTY-Alarm). Hinweis: ESPAÑOL • Die PTY-Programmcodes und deren Bedeutung sind wie folgt: 1. NEWS: Nachrichten. 2. AFFAIRS: Neuigkeiten. 3. INFO: Allgemeine Informationen und Ratschläge. 4. SPORT: Sport. 5. EDUCATE: Bildungsprogramme. 6. DRAMA: Hörspiele. 7. CULTURE: Programme mit kulturellem Inhalt. 8.
RDS-Funktionen Einstellungen für PTY-Suchlauf 1. Auf PTY-Suchlaufeinstellung schalten. 2 Sekunden drücken Der Name des gegenwärtigen Programmtyps wird 5 Sekunden lang auf dem Display angezeigt. Hinweis: • “CURRENT” wählt den Programmtyp des gegenwärtigen Senders als Suchkriterium für den PTYSuchlauf (vorausgesetzt, es handelt sich um einen RDS-Sender, der PTY-Daten ausstrahlt). 2. Einen Programmtyp wählen. 3.
PTY-Suchlauffunktion ENGLISH • PTY-Suchlauf starten. ESPAÑOL Der Tuner sucht nach einem Sender, der den gewünschten Programmtyp ausstrahlt. Hinweis: • Der Programminhalt mancher Stationen kann sich vom angezeigten Programmtyp unterscheiden. • Falls der Tuner keinen Sender mit dem gewählten Programmtyp findet, sehen Sie etwa 2 Sekunden “NOTFOUND” auf dem Display, bevor das Gerät wieder den zuletzt empfangenen Sender einstellt.
Gebrauch des eingebauten CD-Players Wiederholfunktion Durch diese Funktion spielt der Player den gegenwärtigen Titel wiederholt ab. • Die Wiederholfunktion wird mit der Taste 5 ein- und ausgeschaltet. Hinweis: • Die Wiederholfunktion wird abgebrochen, wenn Sie während der Wiederholung auf Titelsprung oder Schnell-/Vorrücklauf schalten. Zufallswiedergabe Bei der Zufallswiedergabe werden die Titel auf einer CD in zufälliger Reihenfolge abgespielt.
Klangeinstellung Wahl der Equalizer-Kurve ENGLISH Es stehen verschiedene EQ-Kurven zur Wahl. • Zur Wahl von EQ-Kurven die Taste EQ drücken. ESPAÑOL Equalizer-Kurve POWERFUL (betont) = NATURAL (natürlich) = VOCAL (Stimmen) = CUSTOM (benutzerprogrammiert) = EQ FLAT (Fläche) = SPR–BASS (Super-bass) Hinweis: • Unter “CUSTOM” können Sie Ihre eigenen EQ-Einstellungen speichern (siehe “EqualizerEinstellung” auf Seite 20). DEUTSCH Aufruf des Audio-Menüs Über dieses Menü können Sie den Klang einstellen.
Klangeinstellung Einstellfunktionen im Audio-Menü Das Audio-Menü umfasst folgende Funktionen. Überblendregler-/Balance-Einstellung (FAD) Mit dieser Funktion können Sie das Lautstärkeverhältnis zwischen den linken und rechten sowie Front- und Hecklautsprechern optimal abgleichen. 1. Drücken Sie die Taste AUDIO und wählen Sie “Fader/Balance”-Modus (FAD) im Audio-Menü. 2. Das Lautstärkeverhältnis zwischen Front- und Hecklautsprechern mit den ∞ einstellen.
Equalizer-Kurveneinstellung (EQ-L/EQ-M/EQ-H) ENGLISH Sie können die gegenwärtig aufgerufenen Equalizer-Kurveneinstellung nach Belieben verändern. Ihre Equalizer-Kurveneinstellung werden dann unter “CUSTOM” abgespeichert. 1. Drücken Sie die Taste AUDIO und wählen Sie eine EqualizerKurveneinstellung (EQ-L/EQ-M/EQ-H) im Audio-Menü. ESPAÑOL 2. Wählen Sie das EQ-Band, das Sie einstellen wollen, mit den Tasten 2/3.
Klangeinstellung Frontklangbild-Verstärkung (FIE) Bei der Frontklangbild-Verstärkung (F.I.E.) handelt es sich um einen Kunstgriff, um das Klangbild in den vorderen Innenraumbereich zu verlagern. Dazu werden die Mitten und Höhen vor den Hecklautsprecher-Ausgängen herausgefiltert, wodurch diese Lautsprecher nur noch die Bässe wiedergeben. Die Schnittfrequenz ist wählbar. Entfernen und Anbringen der Frontplatte Diebstahlschutz ENGLISH Die Frontplatte des Hauptgerät kann abgenommen werden, um einem Diebstahl vorzubeugen. Entfernen der Frontplatte 1. Die Frontplatte ausrasten. ESPAÑOL 2. Zum Abnehmen die Frontplatte von der rechten Seite her herausziehen. DEUTSCH Fassen Sie die Platte nicht zu fest und lassen Sie sie nicht fallen. FRANÇAIS 3. Verwenden Sie das mitgelieferte Schutzgehäuse zum Aufbewahren/ Transportieren der Frontplatte.
Voreinstellungen Aufruf des Voreinstellungsmenüs Über dieses Menü können Sie die Voreinstellung für verschiedene Funktionen des Geräts ändern. 1. Schalten Sie die Programmquelle aus. 2. Das Voreinstellungsmenü aufrufen. 2 Sekunden drücken 3. Eine Einstellfunktion wählen. Die Einstellfunktionen werden durch Drücken der Taste nacheinander aufgerufen ... 4. Die Einstellungen vornehmen. 5. Das Voreinstellungsmenü verlassen.
Voreinstellungsfunktionen ENGLISH Das Voreinstellungsmenü umfasst folgende Funktionen. Ändern des UKW-Abstimmrasters (STEP) Die normalen Suchlaufschritte von 50 kHz bei UKW-Empfang ändern sich bei aktivierter AF- oder TA-Funktion zu 100 kHz. In gewissen Empfangsgebieten können sich jedoch 50-kHz-Abstimmschritte für die AFFunktion empfehlen. ESPAÑOL 1. Drücken Sie die Taste AUDIO und wählen Sie den FMAbstimmrastermodus (STEP) im Audio-Menü. 2. Den gewünschten Abstimmschritt mit den Tasten 2/3 wählen.
Andere Funktionen Telefon-Stummschaltung Bei Anschluss eines Telefons an dieses System wird das Gerät stummgeschaltet, sobald Sie einen Anruf machen oder angerufen werden. • Während der Stummschaltung sehen Sie “MUTE” auf dem Display und die Funktion der Bedientasten ist gesperrt. Nach Beendigung des Telefongesprächs arbeitet das Gerät wieder normal.
CD-Player und Pflege Zur Beachtung ENGLISH • Spielen Sie nur CDs, die mit "Compact Disc Digital Audio" gekennzeichnet sind. ESPAÑOL • Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich auf herkömmliche, vollkommen runde CDs ausgelegt. Von der Verwendung anders geformter CDs wird strikt abgeraten. DEUTSCH • Alle CDs vor der Wiedergabe prüfen - rissige, verkratzte oder verformte CDs wegwerfen. • Die Wiedergabe von CD-R (bespielbare CDs), die mit einem CD-Recorder bespielt worden sind, ist unter Umständen nicht möglich.
CD-Player und Pflege Fehlermeldungen des eingebauten CD-Spielers Wenn Störungen bei der CD-Wiedergabe auftreten, erscheint eine Fehlermeldung auf dem Display. Identifizieren Sie Störungsursachen zunächst anhand der Tabelle unten und führen Sie die empfohlenen Abhilfemaßnahmen aus.
