3. Press 9, 7, 3, 5
4. Change the value to 255 using RIGHT / LEFT
5. Press SETUP

1. Make sure the disc tray is empty
2. Enter 0086000 (the last digit represents the region to set)
3. Press ENTER
4. '0' will appear on the screen
5. Power off
Himage DVD-2290 / DVD-8800 / DVD-595 / HJ-8800 / HJ-9900
1. Press OPEN (open disc tray)
2. Press 8, 8, 0, 0 (or 9900)
3. Enter desired country code (1-6; 9=codefree)
4. ress OPEN (close the tray)

1. Open the disc tray
2. Press 8, 5, 6, 1, 0
3. Close the disc tray
Method 2:
1. Open the disc tray
2. Press SETUP
3. Press "fast forward", "fast rewind", "fast forward", "fast rewind"
"VerX" appears on screen (X=RC)
4. Select RC using LEFT (255=Codefree)
5. Press ENTER
6. Press SETUP
