BASIC FUNCTIONS
This function switches the display on the screen between 480p (progressive
scan) and 1080i (interlace scan) during 480i and 480p.

Change SCAN MODE.

After adjusting, press MENU to turn the
menu off.
Press MENU and select SCREEN by
using the | or \ button and then
pressing « button. (Refer to page 26.)

NOTE:
This function cannot be used during “INPUT1, 2
component 1080i, 720p,” “INPUT3 RGB Signals,”
“INPUT 5, 6 Digital Signals 1080i,” and “PURE
DIGITAL ON.”
CHANGING SCAN MODE
1080i ........ This is optimum for viewing moving
video.
480p ......... This is optimum for viewing still pictures
or text.
