SOFTWARE ENTERTAINMENT CONTROLLER SEP-C1 Driver Installation Guide (For Windows®)
When the software entertainment controller SEP-C1 is to be used connected to a computer installed with the Microsoft Windows operating system, it is necessary to first install the SEP-C1 driver software. Also, be sure to read the printed information “INSTALLATION GUIDELINES” and “CONNECTIONS” provided with the SEP-C1 before installing the driver and connecting the player to the computer.
Driver Installation Procedures 3 When the [License] screen appears, read the Software End User License Agreement, click on the [I agree.] box, then click on [OK]. [1] Before installing (IMPORTANT!) • Before installing the SEP-C1 driver software, please read the “Software End User License Agreement.
• If the [Digital Signature Not Found] message appears during installation, click on the [Yes] button to continue the installation process. 5 • During installation, if the computer displays the message [What do you want the wizard to do?] select [Install the software automatically (Recommended)], then click the [Next] button to continue installation. When installation is completed, the [Installation is now complete.] message will appear.
[4] To confirm driver version To confirm the verson of the installed driver, click on Windows [START] button, followed by [View All Programs] [Pioneer] [MEP-7000 [SEP-C1]] [MEP-7000 [SEP-C1] Version Display Utility]. * This screen also allows you to confirm the version of the firmware currently installed. Note, however, that the firmware version will not be displayed if the SEP-C1 is not connected to a computer, or if the computer is not communicating properly with the SEP-C1.
