REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION
CD PLAYER, CASSETTE DECK, TV, VCR, and LD PLAYER OPERATION 1
Operation of some of the functions of Pioneer components bearing
the [] mark is possible.
[CASSETTE DECK OPERATION]
I Set the AUDIO/VIDEO switch to AUDIO.
[CD PLAYER OPERATION]
Set the AUDIO/VIDEO switch to AUDIO. 1
(_) Operation buttons
v,-, (TRACK SEARCH) button:
Returns to the beginning of the track currently in playing.
•_,_1 (TRACK SEARCH) button:
Advances to the next track.
(PLAY) button:
Selects playback.
DISC SELECT (-, +) buttons:
Use to select a disc with a file-type CD player.
Only the -t- button may be used to select the DISC No. (1 to 6)
for a multi-play CD player, or used to select Twin CD DISC 1/11.
NOTE:
Some multi-play CD players cannot be controlled using this
button.
• (STOP) button:
Stops playback.
(_ CD POWER button
Switches CD player power ON/OFF. This only applies to CD player
which you can switch ON/OFF by remote control operation.
Operation buttons
TAPE SELECT button:
Selects the cassette No. (1 to 6) for a multi-cassette changer.
< (PLAY) button:
Selects reverse playback.
• (STOP} button:
Stops the tape transport.
I_ (PLAY) button:
Selects forward playback.
DECK I button:
Switches to the DECK I functions when using a double
cassette deck.
For example, when operating the DECK I for playback, press
this button before pressing I_ button or _< button.
DECK II button:
Switches to the DECK II functions when using a double
cassette deck.
For example, when operating the DECK II for playback, press
this button before pressing I_ button or 41 button.
_,_ (FF) button:
Rapidly advances the tape in the direction of the arrow.
,'_ (FF) button:
Rapidly advances the tape in the direction of the arrow.
NOTE:
• Some cassette decks cannot be controlled using TAPE SELECT
button.
• The _ button can only be used with cassette decks capable of
reverse play.
• Some buttons willnot work with all types of cassette decks. Refer to
the operating instructions for more information.
• When operating the tape deck, be sure to use the DECK I or DECK II
button to choose the desired deck before using the other operating
buttons.
• When using a single deck, press the DECKIIbutton before using the
other operating buttons.
_) TAPE POWER button
Switches cassette deck power ON/OFF. This only applies to cassette
deck which you can switch ON/OFF by remote control operation.
[TV OPERATION]
Set the AUDIO/VIDEO switch to VIDEO. ]
(_) Operation buttons
TV VOL (volume) (+, --) buttons:
Raises (.1.) and lowers (--) the volume.
TV CH (channel) (-t-, --) buttons:
Switches TV channels in order.
(_ TV POWER button
Switches the power of the IV ON/OFF.
