Precautions n General l Use the unit on a firm, level surface free from vibration. l Place the speakers at least 30 cm away from any CRT TV to avoid colour variations across the TV screen. Using the Radio Data System (RDS) RDS is a broadcasting service which a growing number of FM stations provide. These FM stations send additional signals along with their regular programme signals. They send their station names, and information about the type of programme such as sport, music, etc. When tuned to an RDS station, “RDS” and the station name will be displayed.

Enrichissement du système Dépannage Le câble de raccordement n’est pas fourni. Se procurer un câble vendu dans le commerce. Empleo del sistema de datos radiofónicos (RDS) RDS es un servicio de radiodifusión proporcionado por un número cada día mayor de emisoras de FM. Estas emisoras de FM emiten señales adicionales al mismo tiempo que las señales normales del programa. Emiten los nombres de emisoras e información sobre el tipo de programa, como por ejemplo los deportivos, musicales, etc. Cuando se sintonice una emisora RDS, se visualizará “RDS” y el nombre de la emisora.
Empleo del sistema de datos radiofónicos (RDS) (continuación) n Notas sobre la operación RDS n Si ocurre algo de lo que se menciona a continuación, no significa que el aparato esté averiado: l Aparecerán “PS”, “No PS” y el nombre de una emisora alternadamente, y el aparato no funcionará correctamente. l Si una emisora en particular no está difundiendo correctamente o una emisora está realizando pruebas, la función de recepción RDS no funcionará correctamente.

Operación del temporizador y de desconexión automática (Solamente del control remoto) n Reproducción con temporizador Antes de ajustar el temporizador: l Compruebe que el reloj esté ajustado a la hora correcta (vea la página 9). Si no está ajustado, no podrá emplear la función del temporizador. l Para reproducción con temporizado: Inserte el USB o cargue discos o conecte el puerto del iPod para reproducirlos. 1 Pulse el botón STANDBY/ON para conectar la alimentación.
Operación del temporizador y de desconexión automática (Solamente del control remoto) (continuación) 13 Cuando se llegue al final de la hora de parada del temporizador, el sistema se establecerá automáticamente en el modo de reserva de alimentación. Temporizador para una vez: Se cancelará el temporizador. Temporizador diario: El temporizador funciona a la misma hora cada día. Continuará hasta que se cancele el ajuste del temporizador diario. Cancele el temporizador diario cuando no lo emplee.
