5. Logon to the Console
Oncetheterminalhasconnectedtothedevice,powerontheManagedSwitch,the
terminalwilldisplaythatitisrunningtestingprocedures.
Then, the following message asks the login username and password. The factory
default username and password are adminbothas following and theloginscreen
inFigure5-1appears.
Username: admin

1.Forsecurity reason, pleasechange and memorize the new pass-
wordafterthisfirstsetup.
2.Only accept command in lowercase letter under console inter-
face.
