7. NAVIGATION SYSTEM INFORMATION

2. NAVIGATION DATABASE UPDATES
1 Open the cover of the auxiliary box and
then open the cover of the USB/AUX
port.
2 Connect a USB memory.
3 Select “Yes” when the confirmation
screen appears.
4 Enter license key.
z If the license key is invalid, the navigation
database will not be updated.
5 Select “Confirm”.
6 Check that the updating screen is dis-
played.
UPDATING NAVIGATION
DATABASE
Navigation database that contains sys-
tem software and map data, etc. can
be updated using a USB memory.
For details, contact Toyota dealer or
refer to Toyota portal site
(www.my.toyota.eu
).
INFORMATION
● Updating may not complete correctly in
the following cases:
• Vehicles without a smart entry & start
system: If the engine switch is turned
to the “LOCK” position during updating.
• Vehicles with a smart entry & start sys-
tem: If the engine switch is turned off
during updating.
• If the USB memory is removed before
updating is complete
● The amount of time required to complete
the update process depends on the size
of the data.
