ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Attach the knob (O) on the door (M) with one M4 X 5 screw (AA). 1 Hardware Used AA AA Screw M4 X 5 X1 FF Phillips screwdriver X1 M O 2. Attach an angle iron (D) to 1/4 table (C) with M6 X 12 bolt (DD). Repeat procedure to complete the assembly of the rest of three 1/4 tables. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 4. Attach propane tank strap (N) to bottom plate (L). 5. Bracket Post Installation. 5-1. Attach four bracket posts (F, G, H, I) to the bottom plate with four M6 X 30 bolts (BB). Make sure to keep front brackets in front and back brackets in back. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 6. Door Installation Attach the door as shown in figure 6. Insert the lower pre-assembled bolt on the door into the mounting hole on the base. Put door bracket (E) above the door. Insert the upper pre-assembled bolt on the door into the door bracket. Fasten the door bracket with two M6 X 12 bolts (DD). 6 E DD Do not put door bracket too close to the door in order to ensure that it can open and close easily. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 7-2. After assembly, the base assembly will look like figure 7-2. 8. Table Installation 8-1. Lay assembled table upside down on floor. Line up holes in assembled table with corresponding holes in base assembly. Insert eight M6 X 12 bolts (DD) through holes. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 9. Burner Assembly Installation 9-1. Line up holes in the burner assembly (B) with corresponding holes in the table assembly. Insert four M5X12 screws (EE) through holes. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 10-2. Total fire pit installation complete. 10-2 WARNING DO NOT COVER THE IGNITION SCREEN when placing the glass rocks into the fire bowl. Always keep Ignition Screen visible. This screen must be clear and free of obstructions at all times to insure proper operation. CORRECT Screen Do not place glass on screen. Keep screen clear. INCORRECT The burner of the firebowl must be covered by glass rocks completely. Otherwise the flame may be extinguished occasionally.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS The propane cylinder must be constructed and marked in accordance with the specifications for LP gas cylinders of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) or the standard for cylinders, spheres and tubes for transportation of dangerous goods and commission, CAN/CSA-B339. The cylinder must have a listed overfilling prevention device. The cylinder must have a connection device compatible with the connection for the appliance.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS The maximum inlet gas supply pressure: 250 psi /1750 kPa. The minimum inlet gas supply pressure: 5 psi /35kPa. The minimum hourly of 10000 Btu /2.93 kW is required input rating for an appliance for automatic operation at ratings less than full input rating. Place a dust cap on cylinder valve outlet whenever the cylinder is not in use. Only install the type of dust cap on the cylinder valve outlet that is provided with the cylinder valve.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Before connection, be sure that there is no debris caught in the outlet of the gas cylinder, outlet of the regulator valve or in the outlet of the burner and burner ports. Keep the propane cylinder valve closed and disconnect the propane cylinder from the regulator valve when the fire pit is not in use. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS LEAK CHECK WARNING • • • • Perform all leak tests outdoors. Extinguish all open flames. NEVER leak test when smoking. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Note: Other cylinders may be acceptable for use with this appliance provided they have the same profile and dimensions to be compatible with the appliance nesting hole and retention means. Caution: Do not attempt to operate until you have read and understand all General Safety Information in this manual and all assembly is complete and leak checks have been performed. Before Turning Gas Supply ON: 1. Your fire pit was designed and approved for outdoor use only.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS WARNING FOR YOUR SAFETY Be careful when attempting to manually ignite this fire pit. Holding in the control knob for more than 10 seconds before igniting the gas will cause a ball of flame upon ignition. When fire pit is ON: Burner will display tongues of blue and yellow flame. These flames should not be yellow or produce thick black smoke, indicating an obstruction of airflow through the burners. The flame should be blue with straight yellow tops.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Operation Checklist For a safe and pleasurable heating experience, perform this check before each use. Before Operating: 1. I am familiar with entire owner’s manual and understand all precautions noted. 2. All components are properly assembled, intact and operable. 3. No alterations have been made. 4. All gas connections are secure and do not leak. 5. Wind velocity is below 10 mph/ 16 km/h. 6. Unit will operate at reduced efficiency below 40°F / 4°C. 7.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE WARNING FOR YOUR SAFETY • Do NOT touch or move fire pit for at least 45 minutes after use. To enjoy years of outstanding performance from your fire pit, make sure you perform the following maintenance activities on a regular basis: Keep exterior surfaces clean. 1. Use warm soapy water for cleaning. Never use flammable or corrosive cleaning agents. 2. While cleaning your fire pit, be sure to keep the area around the burner dry at all times.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE Storage Between uses: • Turn control valve and cylinder valve off. • Disconnect the hose regulator from propane cylinder. • Store fire pit upright in an area sheltered from direct contact with inclement weather (such as rain, sleet, hail, snow, dust and debris). • If desired, cover fire pit with included cover to protect exterior surfaces and to help prevent build-up in air passages. Note: Wait until fire pit is cool before covering.
